This replacement lid for the 40oz HydroJug is a significant upgrade in several key areas and is definitely worth the purchase. I'm docking one star purely for the included inner straws, but the lid itself is fantastic. The Pros: * Crystal Clear Visibility: The clear lid is the best feature. I've had zero issues with leaks around the top edge. * Sturdy Folding Straw: The external straw folds in securely and stays put. It feels robust and does not leak when folded, making it genuinely spill-resistant and easy to toss in a bag. The 'Wish I Could Change This': * Inner Straw Quality: While the lid comes with four spare inner straws (a nice value add!), they are thin, opaque plastic and feel less sturdy than the rest of the product. * Aesthetics/Cleanliness: I wish these inner straws were made of a clear, more durable plastic, or even glass, as glass stays cleaner and is easy to maintain, especially since it stays inside the cup. Overall: If you need a reliable, leak-proof, and visually functional replacement lid for your 40oz HydroJug, look no further. Just be prepared to potentially use your existing sturdier inner straw or swap the included ones out for a better option down the line.

These ended up not fitting mine, which was annoying and a little bit sad because it really does need a replacement lid. Which is disappointing, but que Sera Sera, what will be, will be. The build quality is decent, although the lack of an included straw cleaner is somewhat sad, and would have been a major value add because straws get disgusting, though I do worry that it doesn't ventilate enough in order to prevent back suction.

I got this pair of Flip straw lids to replace mine that cracked when it fell off my truck bed. First of all, they are really nice quality, well made with good gasketing, sturdy threads, and overall very good quality. The only mistake I made was thinking it would fit my 40oz cup (made by a company that rhymes with franley). The photos look just like them, but even though they are both 40oz, these do NOT fit mine unfortunately. But in all fairness it is not the mfg. fault. It was my mistake when I ordered it. I still give it 4 stars because if you have a 40oz HydroJug traveler, these are really nice flip straw lids!

This replacement set fits perfect on the 40oz Hydro Jugs. It doesn’t leak which is the most important thing for me. My only complaint is the straw is not as sturdy as the original. It’s definitely a cheaper type of plastic but it does its job so that’s good. Overall, a great product for the price! I would buy again!
