I bought this with low expectations and higher cable shame. What I got was the ability to look at my desk without wincing. This thing instantly transforms a chaotic spaghetti monster of cords into a single, respectable, well‑behaved cable snake. It’s like telling your wires to “get it together” and they actually listen. Power cords, HDMI, Ethernet — all quietly bundled and no longer plotting against my sanity. The split design is genius. Open it up, shove wires in (technical term), and boom — organization. No tools, no instructions, no life coaching required. It even cuts cleanly, which made me feel oddly accomplished for someone who just wrapped cables in plastic. It’s flexible, durable, and sturdy enough to protect against pets, chairs, and your own feet when you forget where the cords are (which you will). Bonus: it instantly makes any setup look more professional, even if what’s plugged in is absolutely not. Highly recommend if you want fewer visible cords, less chaos, and wires that finally behave like adults.

I bought this 3/4" x 10 ft loom to improve cable management behind my desk, and it worked exactly as intended. Before installing it, I had multiple loose cables running behind my PC and monitor setup. Once the loom was in place, the wiring was much more consolidated and the overall setup looked significantly cleaner. I’m including before-and-after photos with this review, and the improvement is very noticeable. The loom was easy to install, accommodated several cables without issue, and provided a cleaner routing solution without adding much bulk. It gave the cable run a more organized, controlled appearance and made the area look far more refined. For the price, it was a worthwhile purchase and I’d buy it again.

Alex Tech makes awesome products, this is my 1st time using split-sleeve loom. The only downside is when I cut a length off & burn the ends to keep it from fraying, it always causes it to fray to an extent, gotta figure out how to nip that & it's a little difficult to feed the wires in (but that means they're even harder to come out, big plus) otherwise 5 stars. LOVE that you can have a run of harness with a breakout wire at any point, makes jobs much faster & takes up less material. The loom is pretty thick & will obviously be even thicker if your inner run is thin enough for the loom to overlap on itself.

My mom is currently on oxygen 24/7. She isn't quite capable of managing all the maintenance & accessories by herself, so I take care of it all. I had two serious & pressing issues in need of a quick solution. I'm highly allergic to the dye in the mainline oxygen tubing that our local supplier provides. So, I couldn't touch it without covering my hands or the tubing. The alternative, clear tubing our supplier provides is unbelievably fragile & subpar to say the least. I attempted to create a homemade cover using old damaged tubing, shrink wrap, & tape while I searched for a better solution. As you can imagine, my makeshift cover wasn't ideal & certainly not sustainable. I stumbled across several types of PET covers & tried quite a few. I liked the expendable covers at first. I thought they'd be the better option, assuming they were lighter weight than the others. However, I soon realized that it was entirely too difficult & time consuming to snake 50+ feet of tubing through the cover on a weekly basis. Not to mention, they aren't very flexible & that's kind of a necessity when dealing with O² tubing. I tried these & immediately decided they were the best invention ever! I have nerve damage in one hand which makes it tough to deal with things that require more than minimal dexterity. The split sleeve made applying this cover SO easy. The material these are made from are a visibly higher quality than the others I've used while still managing to be lightweight & flexible. *BOTTOM LINE* The ¼" 25ft split sleeve cover is a PERFECT fit for any standard 6mm oxygen supply tubing. It's tough enough to keep my very sharp toothed cat from damaging the tubes. It's even tough enough to withstand my overly anxious, rambunctious, & frankly... straight up hazardous mom. She can pull, rip, & yank on these all day long without damaging the tubes. Believe me, she's certainly tried her best to destroy it a few times. It's fairly easy to apply even if you have difficulty with dexterity. It protects against damage & helps protect me from my allergies to the oxygen tubing. It's solved all the problems! The photos should help show how well & easily these covers fit over the standard size (6mm) oxygen supply tubing. Even though it's not in the photos, this includes the standard GREEN tubing.

I had a mess of wires running to the house from two different solar arrays, and because of all the gravel the builders left in the ground around the house, burying the cables was just not an option for this DIYer. But we’ve got field mice and chickens and other critters that might like to chew on my cables so I got several of these cord protectors. They get the functional job done, but I had not considered what a difference it would make having the cords tidy. The black color makes them disappear, and even if the chickens scratch up the mulch I put down around them, they can’t tear them up. I did have to cut some pieces, and they will fray badly if you don’t heat-seal them, so be prepared for that. But they are a dream to install, and they were definitely worth the extra cost compared to some of the cheaper alternatives. Don’t even question it. This is what you want, and you will not be sorry you invested in them.

I never write a review, but my foster pup (Labrador & pit mix) wanted to contribute to it so here it is. Impressive durability, great quality, and cheap. My doggy destroyed bed frame, all my clothings, any chew toys that’s worth three times more than this product, but not this protector wire. At this point, this company should start selling dog toys and they’ll sell well. Can they make arm protectors so that my limbs are as safe as my cords now? I’m bleeding everywhere getting bit by the dog but my cords remain intact. Also, it removes cluttering, good for the looks

The description isn't quite as helpful as the product. I use this for cable harnesses to keep associated wires out of the way and protected. It is easy to cut this to length - any reasonable pair of scissors will do. It is easy to install, jut pry it open and zip in wires and / or cords. It expands and contracts withing a range of wire bundle sizes without needing cable clips. Wears and protects well unless it meets a buzz saw - don't ask.
