Say Good-Bye to Illness

NAET is an incredible gift and tool for eliminating allergies. It's not some miracle fix -k- It takes time and hard work, but it does eliminate allergies permanently and in doing that NAET eliminates health problems if the health problems underlying cause is an allergy/allergies. My nephew was diagnosed with Celiac when he was younger and with NAET and other natural healing he is doing well. He was able to eat gluten and wheat for years without any reaction. He has had a few symptoms recently, but he hasn't cleared all that needs cleared with natural healing, which is why I say give it time and sometimes NAET isn't enough...refer to my recent comment I added. My mom has already had her Armour Thyroid cut in half thanks to NAET, other natural healing and Iodine Plus 2. This NAET stuff is truly a blessing! I truly believe in it. But you can't expect your problems to go away in a few visits. That does happen for some people but I think that is not the norm. My friends son who got me interested in it in the first place was doing treatments for severe eczema. He had a bleeding, oozing rash from head to toe. At first with NAET he started to get worse it seemed. Then had to go visit his dad for a couple weeks, and when he came back, he was almost clear. This was also after tking a break from NAET for a few weeks. Sometimes you need time off. Anyway, usually when we went with his dad, he'd come back bleeding badly. After some time with his mom to get back off a few things he was still allergic to (hadn't got to them yet with NAET), his rash went away. He is eating yogurt that use to give him a rash, and when he does have a little rash, the yogurt now clears that up instead of causing it. But again, that was after hard work and continual visits. Some severe conditions with a lot of underlying allergies will take even a while, but they will go away if an allergy is the underlying cause, and you'll feel like a million bucks! I do love NAET and still do it, but I do other natural healing and supplement some things as well.

I have suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Lyme Disease for more than 10 years, and have found limited relief using conventional Western therapies (hormone replacement, antibiotics, nutritional supplementation, etc.). A skeptic at first, I have found that NAET really works, and I am grateful for this book and my practitioner. I have done about 15 sessions now, and find that my energy has markedly improved, the pain in my muscles, muscle wasting in certain areas of my body (back, abdomen, buttocks), is diminishing, and I am also able to get frequent attention by someone looking at my problems energetically, rather than through the very close-minded scope of chemical therapies. Based on the long delay of my diagnosis -- by even top docs (Mayo Clinic) -- I feel like "energy blockages" as Devi calls "allergies" are probably also as much to play with the trauma of social isolation, and my body's energy closed up a long time ago. NAET seems to address this especially well, and I'm not sure if you're going to find that kind of relief through doctors, the same doctors that couldn't provide relief in the first place. I would recommend this book to almost anyone at least as a primer in acupuncture (on which NAET is based), and, then, for any number of other "undiagnosed" or "untreatable" conditions in which one has not found relief elsewhere. You might find that it is a little bit out there at first, but think of the first hospitals in the mid-1800's when surgeons were killing their patients by visiting the morgue in the basement, and, then, not washing their hands prior to surgery. Then think about how overprescribed everyone is now -- from erectile dysfunction to heart disease to mental illness. There's something to this system brings to the table, and, if slightly imperfect or "alien" now, think how it might be ten or twenty years from now.

Deep insights and a nuanced perspective that I am grateful for. Although I am a doctoral student in Chiropractic, I believe these ideas will be able to help me treat many of my future patients.

I have been having treatments since June of 2012. This book was very helpful in explaining the NAET treatment. I think it is very important to be sure that your practioner also does the emotional detox in order to truly clear allergies! I am finding treatments very helpful, especially for the panic attacks and anxiety that I was experiencing and doctor was unable to help control! No more running in panic to the emergency room for me!

This book is simply revolutionary! A must read for anybody who's ever had any allergic response to anything. This treatment has been the most useful cure for me as I've suffered from various allergies all my life. Thank you Dr. Devi!

I've always wondered whether I have allergies and after reading this book (although not from cover to cover) I realise I probably do have allergies. The book can get a bit technical (medically speaking) but I've read enough of it with case histories and testimonials of which there are many to understand what the allergy testing and also the technique involved is in order to clear the allergies. Chapter 9 explains the technique used. The founder of this allergy elimination technique, Dr Devi Nambudripad has tried and tested this method on herself after having discovered many allergies of her own as well as her family and I can tell by the way the book is detailed that she's certainly done her research and knows what she's talking about. Dr Devi, as she's often known, believes that most illnesses are brought about by allergies of some kind and I'm beginning to agree. Emotional factors also have to be considered and these can be cleared with the treatment also. The method of testing is basically, using muscle response testing (known as kinesiology) with the allergen you're being tested against in one hand and your muscle response with the other hand (or arm) it can test whether you're allergic to the supposed allergen or not. I've had kinesiology in the past and from what I remember, if you react to something, you're unable to resist with the free arm when pressure is applied and the arm drops down by your side, if you don't react to the allergen, you're able to resist the supposed allergen, and able to push against the pressure applied. Once an allergen has been found (and it doesn't just apply to food, it could be silver jewellery, cotton underwear, perfume, paint, any type of chemical, in fact anything at all, even another human being!) then the allergen is held in one hand and acupuncture or acupressure is applied to re-train the brain and clear the allergen. The practioner would only know where to apply the acupressure/acupuncture according to the allergen detected and from what I've read, you abstain from the foods/chemical/fabrics or whatever for a few days or maybe more and then you may be able to go back to eating those original foods, wear fabrics etc without any problem. You can after time learn how to do the MRT (muscle response testing yourself) against anything you might think could cause an allergic reaction so warning you against it in the first place. I've located a couple of practitioners in London and will be thinking about making an appointment once I've come back from a holiday. Having had migraines since I was 5 (I'm now 41) and have a few gyno issues which get better and then get worse, I'm sure the testing alone would bring up a few allergens of which I know nothing about. Definitely worth investing in particularly if you feel like you're bashing your head against a brick wall with your health problems.
