It really works!
I bought my house 8 years ago. The jacuzzi tub didn’t work during inspection and had to be fixed. The tub wasn’t very clean. I had to run water through it a couple of times before the water stayed clear. I’ve been looking for something to truly clean it. My daughter told me about Oh Yuk and I immediately ordered it. I had to do the process twice before I had clear water again. I was so happy because now my tub is actually clean and I don’t have to worry about the gunk anymore.

The name is accurate
I thought I kept my tube jets clean by using a vinegar solution on the jets when I clean the tub. Nope. The first time I used this, it really was an Oh Yuk experience. This cleans all the oils from the jets. You will have to wipe down the tub and clean it after use. I also rinse the tub with water to make sure there isn't any residual left in the jets. I use this once a month, and it seems to keep everything clean. Great product.

Works great, but beware of the fumes
I had recently cleaned my jetted tub using dishwasher detergent and I thought it was pretty clean. A few weeks later I used Oh Yuk and was amazed at how much more dirt came out of the jets. I feel the product does an excellent job in removing soap scum and other nasties living in the plumbing system. With that said, however, make sure the room is well ventilated. Once I filled my tub and added the 4 ounces of the product, the fumes immediately made me cough. I turned on the exhaust fan and opened a window then I left the room while the jets ran for 15 minutes. The active ingredient is quaternary ammonium, a known respiratory irritant. If you have any lung issues, you may wish to wear a protective mask. After emptying and cleaning the tub, I ran another full tub of plain water through the jets to ensure all of the product was removed. So overall, I think the product works great, but do be careful and avoid breathing in the fumes.

Has worked phenomenally well! Got way more out of my tub than I ever expected. This will now be a part of my routine maintenance schedule!

Get the "yuk" out of your jets!
This stuff really works. We had not done anything to clean our whirlpool tub since we bought our house more years ago than I want to admit. After seeing promos about "Oh Yuk," I decided to give it a try. I expected the instructions to say to pour the whole bottle into the filled tub, but it says to pour in only 4 oz, so you get 4 tub treatments from one bottle. After running the jets for the 15 minutes, I was amazed at all the "yuk" that came out - a lot of which appeared to be bits of hair. After wiping out the tub it now looks and feels super clean.

Worth the price and would buy again.
Worked as described. We have used bleach and this product got the build up out much more effectively. Worth the price for the bottle because a little bit goes a long way.

Oh Yuk ... Oh No??
We purchased a home recently that has a Jacuzzi jet tub in the master bath. My wife used Oh Yuk per the instructions and two days later a yellow-tinted stain [6 inches by 12 inches] has appeared on the ceiling of the room under the Jacuzzi tub. It appeared that the product worked in cleaning the tub and piping. The product did produce a yellowish foam. We don't know the age of the tub and the condition of the associated pump, piping, seals and gaskets. We don't know yet much about the compatibility of this chemical blend with our tub wetted parts and materials. But, there was no ceiling stain or wetness prior to the product application. There is no inspection port or easy access to the "under-workings" of the tub. I will try to update this post once we have completed enough demolition to know what's happened. I am curious if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Oh Yuk!

If you have a jet bathtub...USE THIS
We had always had suspicious "bits" floating in our jet bath and despite topping up the bath and switching on the power they still remained. I used a whole bottle of sterilising fluid recently and rinsed it all out and after few days I'd had a bath and had not used the power jets, ... to give it a quick clean. Got out of the bath and turned them on and was mortified to find the water was dark grey and the sediment at the bottom of the bath was literally black. (This must have been loosened by the sterilising product I had put in a few days before). I did some research on the web and found Oh Yuk. It had good reviews and so I ordered some. I used this as soon as I received. I topped up with cold water and added 2oz, turned on the jets and when I did ...I said "oh YUK"!!. The amount of gunk that came out of the pipes was appalling.....it left a sold black line round the bath! I left the bath running for half an hour, cleaned out the bath and then waited half an hour and did the same thing again. The second time it was almost clear. It does soap up but not overly... a bit like when you put a special oil based bath product in. The day after I filled up the bath and ran it without Oh Yuk and it was virtually clear. I am going to run it again with Oh Yuk system again. I will use this product every month from now on and although it is a bit pricey, it means that I know my jet pipes are being thoroughly cleaned and my family can have a power bath in complete confidence. It is really important to clean your pipes on your power bath as they harbour so much bacteria (which can make you ill) and it is easy to overlook that fact when we are busy. We can sometimes concentrate on the things we see, rather than the things we can't. Oh Yuk has taken care of that. Would really recommend Oh Yuk.

Use this before you use a jacuzzi.
I have used this product in two homes and it worked like a charm each time! I highly recommend this product. Full disclosure. I’ve never used this tub before. I just moved in and I’m cleaning before first use.
