Rexel V430 Adjustable 4 Hole Punch, 30 Sheet Capacity, Multiple Hole Configurations, Metal, Black, 8909

Having used 4-hole punches which are not really up to the job, I was relieved to find this one is robust and punches through sufficient sheets to make it worthwhile having: a 4-hole document is normally a fairly lengthy one and it is always tempting to go for a good number of pages at a time and the lesser punches just won't handle them.

Fine but I found, like another reviewer, the product in the box isn't actually the V430. It's the V420.

It punches the right amount of holes in the right place so I’m happy!

Like the hole spacing, from edge of paper to edge of hole, approximately 9mm. Built-in paper stop, so holes are consistently in the right position. Very sturdy, promising a long life. Performs well with a stack of paper but I prefer not to force the limit. The holes are cleanly cut except for the bottom sheet. To eliminate this minor nuisance, I simply place a spare sheet underneath the bottom of the pile. The plastic tray is easily removed to empty the waste but the soft lugs are sometimes tricky to re-locate into their respective holes. This model has a rather prominent, small plate bearing the Rexel legend. Why it's separate from the main body is beyond me. It has its own feeble mounting studs and falls out with monotonous regularity. Consequently it's removed when in use. These trivial irritations are the reason this super little tool gets four stars. Good for the price. Recommend domestic use.

What a stunning invention! Before buying this, I had some 4 ring folders, but only a 2 hole punch. I had to make the extra holes with a pencil or pen, and they didn't always line up. With the Rexel 410 I've been able to punch 4 holes at once, and they always line up! I've become a happier, more content person since this punch brightened my life. Go on, buy one - you owe it to yourself and your family.

I returned this item (purchased from Amazon) on the same day that I received it. The plastic base did not fit properly and although the carton was marked with Rexel V430, the actual device was marked with Rexel 420. Quite possible that the two are different part ID's for the same thing? Thankfully Amazon have an excellent returns system with paid postage. Rexel is probably a reasonably good brand, though in this case their quality control was not so good.

Seems a good quality punch, working well for us.

Arrived well ahead of time. Just picked it up from the post office where it had been sent by the carrier? A solid unit which punched 24 pages of copy paper with ease — that was how many pages I had ready to go; doubt I will ever try 30 at once. So sharp, I could not even feel it cut a lone index card. Happy.

einfach super!!! sein geld auf jeden fall wert! nachdem der große Bind Locher einen Konstruktionsfehler unten am Gehäuse hat. habe ich durch einen Kunden diesen empfohlen bekommen und bin gerade nach dem test super happy.. endlich alles in Din5 oder din 4 egal.. alles passend zu lochen :-) update: also nach nochmal probieren ist es schade: denn, der locher ist grundsätzlich etwas wackelig in der Konstruktion ich muss überlegen ob ich ihn Wirklich behalte.
