The World of PostSecret: A New York Times Bestseller and Community Art Project of Heartbreaking and Funny Anonymous Secrets

I’ve been reading the Sunday secrets almost since PS began but had never bought a book. I’m not sure why but I couldn’t fathom what was so great about them, despite the fact that I never feel like I can get enough of the Sunday secrets. This is the best thing I ever bought myself. I struggle to find Sunday secrets that I relate to but I’ve found many in this book. I love the variety. I also love the stories & insights from Frank & the other curators (is that the right word?). I also like the secrets from the app because they can be so different (many are light hearted) from the mailed secrets. I can’t wait to buy the rest of the books.

A brief history of this book...a little over 10 years ago, Frank Warren gave out postcards, asking random people to decorate a postcard and write a secret that they had never previously revealed. The postcards were then mailed back to him for compilation. This is an endearing book, allowing the reader to catch just a glimpse of someones personal, sometimes humorous and sometimes heart wrenching mini thoughts and secrets. This book is wildly popular with the college crowd as well as anyone interested in a light read, and would make an excellent gift. If you like those confession articles in many of the magazines, you will love this book.

My teenaged daughter turned me on to Post Secret nearly 20 years ago and I have seen Frank live several times. Ive purchased several of the Post Secret books for their raw humanity and raunchy humor. They are an incredibly original testament to the constancy of the human condition and make you feel not so alone in your own inner struggles.

I'm always pleased with a new PostSecret book, and this one was no different. In The World of PostSecret, Frank Warren also has a series of secrets from the now unavailable app. He talks about the app as well and why it was taken down. My favorite part here was where people found friends through the app or found comfort in the replies they got to their secrets. He also offers a glimpse at some of the international PostSecrets and there is even some commentary from his beloved mail carrier. Frank talks about his own secrets; there is one in every book. And he wraps up with what is the perfect secret. I always find some of my own secrets there on the page, written in someone else's hand writing just as Frank suggests. You'll know them when you read them because they make you get teary eyed, or your heart skips a beat, or you hold your breath. There is a piece of everyone here in the world of PostSecret.

I got this book as a gift for my sister. We both really enjoy visiting the PostSecret website and I knew she would enjoy this book. I read some of it before I gave it to her and will borrow it after she's done reading it. It's bigger than all the other PostSecret books and I feel you really get your money's worth. I like that Frank Warren put in alot of secrets from the app.

I love PostSecret and all of their books. I have to be honest that I don't normally keep them after I read them- I usually then pass them along to a friend or family member. These books contain all new secrets that are not seen on the website which makes it fun- this was one of the better books in my opinion.

Perfect book for the coffee table or...the bathroom! Hard to put down, but best in small batches. I do wonder how many of the confessions are fake, but all are interesting to read and I enjoyed the author's insights and explanations of how Post Secret began and how it continues to grow and change.

it just keeps getting better & better! i don't want to live in a word w/o postsecret! we all need to be assured that we are not the only person experiencing strife or unresolved issues. every postsecret i read renews my faith in humanity & bolsters my hope for the future. i hope the "world of postsecret" never ends!

Been reading the website since 2007, first time buying. Love them and will share them with friends once finished.

Loved it, read the entire thing as soon as it arrived. It's a fascinating book filled with secrets that are all interesting in their own right.

Of all the PostSecret books, this is the most personal one by Frank - probably because its the last.

This is such an interesting coffee table book.
