Kenmore 70413 27.6 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator, Stainless Steel

I did not buy this product on Amazon, but after five years of living with this thing I feel obligated to warn others. It looks nice, but it is just awful. The in-door shelves seem secure, but will randomly fall out sometimes when you close the french doors, spilling your food on the kitchen floor. The french doors never seal closed 100%...that is just how they are designed. I guess Maytag couldn't engineer french doors that actually sealed, and opted for appearance over performance. Anything you put in the back of the fridge will freeze, unless you turn the temperature up to the point that the food in front stays warm. This thing is a lose, lose, lose proposition. And all of that is AFTER the fact I have had to call out for compressor/functional repairs twice. No wonder Maytag's mascot is a repairman! But a Kenmore or a Samsung or even a GE. Anything but Maytag!
