Is there a cellular subscription fee? I haven't seen any mention of this.

You need purchase a SIM card with some data plan. If you set up the SMS interval to 10 Minutes, you need at least 8MB/month data plan. I personally purchased the $9 /month speedmobile GSM 2G/3G/4G SIM card from e-bay and it has been working fine.

What's the maximum data usage per month for the highest frequency reporting and for the average? Thanks

We don’t use it on the maximum frequency but with it reporting every half hour it is using just under 2 MB per month. We bought a prepaid SIM card from Truphone which has worked great and costs less than $1 per month.

What size mounting pole does it require?

The U-Bolt is adjustable. I recommended 1.5 inches x 1.5 meters

After an extremely heavy downpour, the rain gauge stopped working. Is there a way to repair or replace it? Or is there a website for troubleshooting?
