Can the camera work on 220 volts power?

No, it need to work with a DC12V 1A power adapter, normal camera adapter is ok.

How do we view the recordings?

If you have it hooked up to a recording device then you go to the main menu and you show see at the top record, the device will hold up to 24 hours of recoding. If you inserted a SanDisk, you have to manually remove it form the cameras.

Can you modify the alert viewing time?

It can not modify the alert viewing time by the camera. But I think that you can modify th alert viewing time by the DVR. Or you can check with your DVR supplier to see if they have that function.
