Brilliant product
These are incredibly effective. We were speechless by how many flies they caught.

Excellent buy
These are pretty good. They're what you'd expect. They attract lots of fly, the flys stay stuck to them which is good and there's no smell. The only drawback with these things is when it comes to changing it for a new one. You get the sticky nastiness from the old tape on your fingers. Very functional, great size pack.

Ineffective.
Sticky as hell, but didn't attract flies at all. It seems the little pests only get caught if they happen to land on the paper buy accident. This situation could be improved by filling the dangling container with apple vinegar, but that doesn't really make up for the fact that the product does not conform to its description. Or maybe I am simply playing host to a special species of fruit fly.

A bit hit and miss - no pun intended.
Having used these growing up I knew to be mindful of the stick. They are incredibly sticky and will leave residue on anything they touch so avoid placing in areas where they may come into contact with things other than flies. In the past I remember it being like the flies were drawn to the strips but with the ones purchased it seems they are interested in anything but landing on the strip, if they do, it does the job. But so far they haven't been as effective as I remember

Flies meet a sticky end
I don't like flies. Inherently I'm not a card-carrying member of the Flies fan club. Flies outside, doing their fly'y thing, fine by me. Come into my kitchen and you're going to meet Mr Teat Owl. Except said Owl is a bit rubbish at killing flies, but very good at smashing other stuff around the kitchen work surface. So I resorted to playing the long game. A series of sticky adornments hanging from the ceiling, calling to the little blighters like a Siren-esque temptress. Within minutes the first unfortunate fellow fell foul of my trap. More followed, oblivious to the dying screams of the rest of their micro-squadron. It transpired that the tape doesn't dry out, and keeps on doing its evil work until you walk into it and are smeared with the catch of previous days/weeks. You will stick to these papers just as effectively as any wingéd creature - ask me how I know... I also felt bad seeing them struggle for many hours as their life force slowly ebbed away, the Teat Owl was always a quicker despatcher of flies. Still, they came into MY kitchen and made maggots in MY bin! Note to the cautious, the drawing pins supplied are pretty much a single-use version. Once you need to move the fly-killing decoration they won't work a second time. Of course, you won't need them when you're removing it from your hair...{ask me how I know}

A disappointing and poor product.
A very disappointing product. The lengths of tape tangle, the flies don't stick to it and can fly off after landing, and it's an utter waste of money. Certainly not recommended.

Attic Fly Problem? Buy!!!
We moved to the countryside, and Attic flies are an issue. I tried lots of other things, but none worked. I bought these and some Citronella and its become easy to maintain. Here is what i did. 1) decant citronella oil into various open jars and place around the attic. 2) put these around the attic. I found near the top was good as they the flies were mainly there. Place them close so the flies have little movement. 3) hover any dormant/dead flies up. They may look dead but they are just sleeping. The oil sent the flies crazy, they get stuck in these traps and can't get out, hover up any cleaver flying ones or ones not moving. So far this is going well. I go up every now and the with a tennis zapper and take out the odd one i find.

Effective
Great stuff, I've caught loads of flies. Only 1 out of the 10 I've used has pulled out of the tube and left its self useless. I have rabbits and dogs in the house, so spraying to kill isn't always possible. They are better than spraying, even if your more annoyed by that 1 fly buzzing around your head... give a couple of minutes and it'll be caught.
