Lavender French Hard Candy from L'Ami Provencal 5.29oz

These candies are delicious and lightly lavender. Very subtle and refreshing! Everyone who tries them, loves them.

Omg what an amazing and delicious product! All candies are in one piece so I'm not sure what the complaints were about. I would order this product again and again it is fantastic!

These candies, from France, are absolutely delicious. Mine were fresh- still really crisp with no tackiness to them at all. They are a little pricey for hard candy, but acceptable given that it is very hard to find high quality flower-scented (violet, in this case) candies in the United States. These shipped really, really fast- like, I had them in a few days. The only drawback to my experience is that the candies looked like they had taken a beating in transit. Lots of bits of broken hard candy at the bottom of the jar, along with "candy dust" that comes from hard candies being whacked around in their container too long. They had been wrapped in a piece of bubble wrap, but there was extra room in the shipping box for the jar to roll around. Maybe more bubble wrap and/or a smaller box next time? Unless they were damaged en route from the producer to the distributor, rather than from the distributor to me? Bottom line, excellent all around, with the exception of some "rough" handling- perhaps more so than usual due to high holiday package volume. I'd definitely buy this product, from this seller, again.

This candy is pretty enough to be given as a gift, however, the candies got jostled around in transit to the point that the edges had become worn and a fine powder had coated the jar. The flavor is light and the candies are small.

I just received the violet candy and was eagerly anticipating a wonderful taste! I could not taste ANY violet!! Neither during nor in the remaining after taste. AWFUL. Another bad item to this situation: this item is unreturnable! You will be stuck with a product which has been deceitful described and with no way to recover the expensive amount paid for this jar of candies. Buyer beware. Steer clear of this substandard product and it's non-returnable policy. (I never leave reviews but this is very important for others to know. I would've chosen zero stars but this process required at least one to be selected.)

Packaging was adorable. The candy is shaped like violets and they taste very nice. A delightfil l8ght violets taste.

It arrived in a glass jar, covered in bubble wrap, but it was cracked. Although the candy smells great and the violet flowers look beautiful, the business owners should change the container to one that is plastic or more secure, because the one they send is very fragile! Otherwise, I think they do an excellent job with those violet candies.
