Easy to fix and are keeping the pigeons off the fence. Good quality product.

These fence/wall spikes were almost exactly what I was looking for - something to deter cats from using the fence (without harming them) as a means to access our house roof. They come in boxes of 10 strips, each strip being roughly 50cm long so one pack is good for approx. 5m length of fencing. The strips are easily applied using either glue or screws (neither are supplied with the strips). The strips can be snapped into shorter lengths if need be. However, this particular brand does not have grooves along their length to allow for bending over the edge of the fence and, due to the width of the strips, I needed to cut along the length to make them thin enough to sit on top of the fence. Anyhow, having fixed them to the fence top, so far they appear to be doing their job. I've not even noticed any birds sat on that particular part of the fence so, fingers crossed, this product may have solved our problem.

These are great. No more pigeons on my face pooing on my head while I try to enjoy my garden.

Very easy to install and not obviously noticable either so all is good here. Unfortunately although they make it very uncomfortable for humans to jump over the fence, the strips were bought as a humane way of deterring at least some of our neighbor's 16 cats from constantly coming into our garden (or as they call it ... the kitty litter tray next door) For this purpose the strips have proven to be useless as the feline wonders have learned to tip toe around the spikes! Time for plan B - a humongous dog! Or move!!

I bought two packs plus two boxes od the compatible screws. I only needed single width due to having a narrow fence but cutting was very simple as the strips are already scored. I added more nails than the pre-drilled holes to ensure they were securely fixed. The supplied screws bit very easily into the strip with minimum pressure. Cutting when necessary was also simple. I used a sturdy pair of kitchen scissors and the cut was clean. No sign go the infuriatingly noisy magpies anymore too! I'd recommend the strips and screws. Family members have already purchased having seen mine.

These spikes maybe good as a deterrent but my experience of them shows it might have an effect on some cats but not all and squirrels take no notice of it at all. The best part of it is the installation is really easy.

Received this item quickly and is as described, however, as it was only placed down yesterday I can’t say that I know it keeps cats off yet but am pretty sure it will!
