Product description Frozen uncooked Quorn meat free burgers made from mycoprotein. Mycoprotein is a nutrious form of quality protein, naturally low in fat and high in protein and fibre. These deliciously juicy meat free burgers are perfect served in a sesame bun with lettuce, red onion and your favourite tasty relish. Made in the UK. Vegetarian Society approved. Each pack is 2kg and contains approximately 40 servings, ideal for foodservice. - Shallow Fry: Cook on a medium heat for 8 minutes, turning frequently. Oven: Pre-heat oven and baking tray to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6 and cook for 13 minutes. For fan assisted ovens reduce cooking time by 2 minutes. Grill: Pre-heat grill to a medium setting and cook for 7 minutes, turning frequently. Review: Burgers as described, just like the old Quorn brilliant burgers - As someone devastated by Brilliant Burgers no longer being sold in favour of the inferior southern burgers this is a godsend. A bit pricier than they were back when you could get them in shops but worth it if you have a strong preference for these ones over the current offerings. Review: Plain but quite tasty. - These burgers are very handy to have in the freezer. Tasty, but not spicy and low-fat, which is important iny household. They are a good texture not too chewy, definitely not mushy. They cook in a frying pan in 8 to 10 minutes with just a light spray of oil. They are a bit small and fairly light in colour.
