I was a bit sceptical about buying this after reading some of the reviews, but for the price I thought I’d take a chance. I live on a farm and have three automatic doors. Two have Somfy remote controls which I think are 433MHz with rolling codes, and the other has a Marantec remote which I think is 868MHz with a static code. The provided instructions are NOT great, but after a few reads of the poorly written English I felt I could give it a go. The Marantec took 10 seconds to program and worked perfectly. The Somfy doors needed an extra step which wasn’t covered in the instructions (you have to press the ‘program’ button on the receiver/control unit for a couple of seconds before the final step in the instructions), but luckily I knew that was likely, and again it only took 20-30 seconds to set up and worked perfectly. Three of the four buttons were programmed easily and are now opening and closing the doors reliably. Can’t speak for the longevity as I only got it today, but it looks well made. I would have liked a sliding cover for the buttons to avoid accidental triggers, and a more robust key ring attachment, but you can’t have it all for a tenner. In summary: it works, I’d recommend it, and whilst some things could be better (including the instructions) it seems up to the job. Whilst reviews are mixed, my experience has been good (and I wonder if some people were unaware of the extra step I described).

This device is completely useless as it comes without instructions and there is no link to online instructions/videos on how to set it up. An ashtray on a motorbike is more useful than this!!!

Nicely made product. Very easy to program and connected to my gates and garage doors first time. Very pleased.

Cloned successfully and has a nice feel. The transmitter distance is awful, I have to be virtually in front of the gates for it to work.

Easy to program, same range as the manufacturers remote, feels like a quality product, the rubberised back means it does not slide around the tray in the car and all for around a tenner, could not fault it.
