SeaKlear AquaPill - WinterPill 2 ¾

I used the AquaPill this past season and was really impressed with how well it worked. Closing the pool in October is always a bit of a chore, but this part was simple, you just drop the pill in and let it do its thing. No fuss, no complicated steps, which I appreciated. The difference it made was clear by the time we opened the pool again in May. In years when I skipped using one, I dealt with green water and a headache getting it back in shape. With this WinterPill, the water stayed clean and clear, and when it came time to dewinterize, all we needed was some minor maintenance to get it swim-ready. For context, our winters are mild, with temperatures occasionally dipping into the 20s, so I can’t speak for super harsh climates. But for us, it worked perfectly. Pool was nice and clear upon taking the cover off. I will purchase again in fall

Pool is inground 18x36 and 8' at deep end. Bought this late 2024 and didn't open pool in 2025 (except to lower water, due to rain). Used Safety cover and black winter (solar type) cover. Opening this year (2026) was no problem. Water was clear with a little algae in the corners. Funny thing. Didn't note this is for 15,000 Pool, when mine is 22,000 gallons.

This will be our second year winterizing our pool with the Aquapill, it makes it easy and when I uncover in the spring/ summer the pool is clear

We have used these pills for the past three years closing the pool and it is awesome. I will say that the size has gotten smaller....not sure why but the pool stays impressively clear upon opening again in the summer regardless. Its definitely a repeat purchase every year. Overall I am happy with it.

Made closing my pool very easy, and spring opening was a dream. I used 2 of these units for 40,000L pool after reading the comments. May try using just 1 unit this year. We have a salt water pool and this was a huge help.

It definitely made a difference in our spring opening. I also used the spring one and the water was crystal clear with no need to balance the chemicals as they were already perfect
