14 months of ownership, 6 purchased (for others), still my default cooking device.
Coming back to this review after a year and I still stand-by my thoughts. Cosori have made the best air fryers, affordable and well designed. Even if it shows signs of wear from heavy use, it's a better device than InstntPot, Phillips and Tefal by a country mile. If the basket wears, just buy another basket. The device is still far better designed that anything else (I've used) on the market. Have owned this device for more than twelve months and it one of the most useful items in my kitchen. It's form factor means it fits anywhere I need to use it, but even better, I can sneak it on holiday too (mainland obviously). Anyone (even novices) can use to improve their culinary output. Simple to setup and use; works better than you imagined and will improve every meal in ways you won't believe. The other major benefit is that cleaning it is really simple, certainly something you do need to be aware of. This particular model is my 'default present' for wedding gifts, birthdays and house-warmings. I purchased one for my parents; mainly because my Mum can't bend down to use the main oven, but it cooks everything (they enjoy) and cleaning-up is low effort. It's also much cheaper to run than an oven. *I have now purchased six in total. Only one problem, simply rectified. Top tip: get the large one. If you have a family, you will find the air fryer is always in use and you need more space for other items. You can cook a whole chicken in an air fryer, the larger model allows you to cook a larger chicken (which is always very popular). The only tools you will need are a good pair of nylon cooking tongues, an oil spray bottle and Teflon base sheet. If you can, try to get the small riser too, this will allow you to cook two (or more) items at the same time. Children will enjoy learning to cook too. Just follow the simple rules and you will have years of delicious results.

A Year with the OSORI Air Fryer 5.5L
After more than a year of regular use, I can confidently say that the OSORI Air Fryer 5.5L has been an absolute game-changer in my kitchen. Initially persuaded by the numerous positive reviews, I decided to make the purchase and have not had a moment of regret since. The air fryer's capacity is perfect for my needs, accommodating a variety of dishes and serving sizes. Its user-friendly interface and efficient cooking technology have simplified my meal prep significantly, making healthy eating more accessible and enjoyable. The device cooks food evenly and quickly, delivering consistently delicious results with minimal oil, which has been fantastic for my family's health and well-being. Maintenance is a breeze with this air fryer; the non-stick basket is easy to clean, and the appliance itself is durable, showing no signs of wear despite frequent use. Its sleek design is a bonus, fitting well with my kitchen's aesthetic. My satisfaction with the OSORI Air Fryer has led me to recommend it to many friends, who have also shared positive experiences. It's not just an appliance but a valuable kitchen companion that has made cooking a pleasure rather than a chore. In conclusion, if you're considering an air fryer, the OSORI Air Fryer 5.5L is a choice you won't regret. Really good air fryer just one problem
Very useful and cooks food quickly easy to use even for someone like me who can't cook all that well. And the provided recipes are alright have only tried the steak one though. The problem is the beeping. It's so loud my neighbours can hear it and they can't hear me blasting my music through my speakers (yes it's that loud). I think you'd go deaf if you kept it as is. But you can pry the lid of the air fryer off and put tape over the speaker for the beeper and it'll sound much more muted and like a regular volume level. Once I did this it's a 5* product. But the fact this is the way it is and there's no way to turn down the volume without DIY-ing it makes it 4* for me

Reliable and efficient
I paid over ยฃ100 for this, the 5.5l version, back in 2022. Now it is even better value! I use it almost daily and now never use the main oven. I use it for baking part-cooked baguettes, salmon in foil, chicken, baking flatbread, etc. I'm sure I just scratch the surface of what can be done in it and am trying to experiment more. For example, I'm going to try a chicken traybake tonight, which I've never attempted because of the permanent basket. But I now realise that is not a problem because the juices that accumulate can be poured over the meal when served! Edit: the traybake was delicious! There are just the two of us, so our needs are slight but I find that I can make almost any meal using my quartet of Airfryer, microwave, hob and slow cooker. There have been other reviews questioning the life of the catch that keeps the bottom container attached to the main basket and handle, but I have not found it to be a problem. Obviously it is a weakness but the bottom container is never loaded up, and it's still going strong over two years later. The main reason for buying the air fryer was energy cost-savings and it has certainly done that. Along with other economies, we managed to reduce (and maintain) our electricity use by 25% I wholeheartedly recommend this air fryer. It is easy to operate, especially using the short-cut programme buttons. It is easy to keep clean. it cooks rapidly and completely. Even though it is now 30% cheaper than when I bought it, I still think it was a bargain. In fact, I'm now following the various Cosori-users Facebook groups to expand my use of it.

So easy to use. Fantastic
Ok. Now this product is so easy to use, and everything cooks to perfection. Roast dinner' dinner today. Dont expect to put a full meal in and ta dah!! Its to help cut costs, and it does. I started with a 2lb joint of beef room temp, started it on pre heat Turned it up for 20, then foil on, pause it for 10, cook for 10, untill you are happy.I did a joint of lamb after,1lb same process ps i upped the temp +lowered the temp. It is very versital ,browns lovely. Like using an oven you check. Whilst this is cooking i have my oven on at the lowest setting 10 mins before (Af) is at the end of meat cycle. When happy with meat place in oven. Same with roast pots I think you have to! since the old hostess trolly. I have a steamer. I started my potatoes off, 1/2 for mash, rest for roasties from scratch, roasties finish fantastic in AF. As roasties are cooking i steamed my veg. In all it took me an hour to cook, and it all came together great. 2 mins to clean aswell. What i am trying to say is. It would of been 2hrs oven, 3 gas rings on the go, 40 tea towels for the washer. And one tired daddy. Cooked it for my little girl. We got to see Mary Poppins aswell. Just done chicken wings in Af. I took the basket out and lined the outer basket with foil to catch the fat. 25mins Superb!! Still 2mins to clean. Omelette! Take your time be patient and yes it works, i cooked tomatoes first on preheat (180), added the eggs (3) cooked for 5 mins added some cheese 3 mins, came out lovely and fluffy. Cooked brekkie win win. I want to fault it but i can't. Be confident with it, keep an eye on it, enjoy it. I have used my gas oven maybe twice in 2 weeks now. Would recommend to buy the extra trays and racks, but foil is as good.

Great air fryer, still going strong after nearly 4 years!
I brought this wonderful air fryer in 2022, still working well and have found it so useful for cooking meals. A great size for me in a house of 1 but would consider a dual air fryer going forward for couple cooking just to allow for a variation of things to be cooked at the same time.

Buy it and try it out!
I've been wondering whether or not to get an air fryer for some time now, so I looked up information on Youtube and online regarding Air Fryers, and boy am I glad I purchased this one. I'd not heard of Cosori brand before, but when looking up information on YouTube and online I noticed that many American cooks use this brand of air fryer-that's good enough for me! I've not yet used the preheat setting-as keep on forgetting to, but the food has still come out good. I've used it to make a grilled cheese and ham toastie-and it was easy to use, crispy on the outside, melt in the mouth inside. The best bit was making air fryer fried chicken-WOW it came out perfectly crispy, with the chicken juicy and succulent inside-but I did use buttermilk and highly recommend people use it if making fried chicken. I've wanted to make fried chicken at home, but was repulsed at the thought of how much oil you need to fry the chicken, plus then all that oil is wasted and you have to get rid of it! I've also made courgette fritters-they came out crispy as well and juicy and soft outside. My partner cooked some pre-made falafels and schnitzels and said both came out very well. It is noisy yes, but a little less noisy than a microwave I find. It's easy to clean and it comes with a handy 100 recipe booklet. I'm going to start making Indian snack foods-some of them I crave but again, the thought of frying it oil is repulsive. We have a small kitchen but I've managed to find a space, and I really like the fact you use much less energy than the oven, and that the air fryer can make fried foods a lot more heathier. I would recommend getting an air fryer, it'll save on the electricity bills, and not be as messy as frying. Granted it's advisable to get the liners when making messier foods.

Love it
I use this every day. Have it since April2021 and works as promised. The recipe booklet is very easy and well explained so makes it even easier to use. I have a convection microwave and I was advised against buying one saying that the Airfryer is a glorified convection oven. Itโs not true, both have its own benefits. You can heat up and cook faster in the Airfryer, with fraction of the time and grease.

Awesome product must buy
Wow, I have been using it for 3 months now and have stopped using pans to cook my food. Have reduced the consumption of oil drastically. This product works like a charm just wish I used this earlier. I am amazed at how often we use this product. No gripes with this product at all works well with everything and the perfect the only thing is I think it may not work well for things that are breaded have tried using it to cook chicken vegis and everything else. It works really well only when I bread the stuff that I'm gonna cook it turns out to taste weird guess it doesn't cook properly.

I find this better than Philips air fryer
1) the bread toast comes out crispy on the outside and soft in the inside 2) much quieter 3) the 5l space is big , I can cook all my chicken thighs for a family of 4 in one meal 4) the non-stick pan is easily to clean, so is the heating elements on the top 5) definitely value for money!!!
