The thickness and texture of this pad for RV kitchen counter use helps prevent items from sliding off, even in transit to some extent. It's thin so not heavy, and fairly durable so far. I bought a black color, don't know if there are any other colors available. Texture is a little bumpy/rough not smooth if that's to your liking. Would buy again.

I bought this mat to be used as a base on a jigsaw puzzle table. The table came with felt as the base, that shreds easily. The rubber seems to be working very well - puzzle pieces are easy to place and do not slide around too much. Give it a try!

Ordered to use as a mat underneath a dog kennel. It was sized perfect, decently thick and sturdy. To date it has been a great option and worked well for our purposes.

I bought this to use under my holiday rug in the foyer. It will help keep your rugs from moving so much. Not a permanent solution but as my son said, I no longer almost kill myself on the rug sliding under my feet. A win-win ladies.

Did exactly the job I needed it to do, cover a electric cord in a high feline traffic area. Kitties run right through and don't stop to play with cords from my sewing room.

We needed something better than a big thick sheet of cardboard for the litter box to sit on. This seems to work well. I'm a little concerned the black rubber may mark up the vinyl tile in the laundry room, and I still need some way to stop litter getting into the washing machine drain pan, but so far this is doing well enough.

I bought this to use as a roll up puzzle mat, but it didn't work because it was too thick. I kept it anyway.
