Very comfortable but shrink
These are really comfortable shirts and lightweight, so they're perfect to wear under a dress shirt w/o a tie (or with). I wear dress clothes daily to work and had been wearing A-shirts (or wife beaters, as I prefer to call them). I think crew necks under a dress shirt w/ the top button undone makes you look like a school boy. Unfortunately, the A-shirts get too warm, especially once winter temps are gone and then I end up w/ sweaty pits on my dress shirt. The v-necks are a perfect solution to the warmer weather. Being lightweight, they don't add the extra bulk of a heavier tee or make you too warm and they absorb any sweat before it gets to the dress shirt, polo, or whatever you're wearing. I personally would never wear a v-neck of any type by itself, as I think it's blatantly feminine and just creepy to have your eyes drawn to dude cleavage and chest hair, so I can't comment on how they look alone. The only con to these shirts are that they shrink quite a bit. Out of the bag, they are a perfect length but once I washed and dried, they lost some of the "tuckable" length. They do still stay tucked in for me but not by much. I do wear a low-rise dress pant, however, so someone wearing a classic higher waist might be better off. I think next time I'd try the Stafford brand, as they are longer. I just hope they make a lightweight version like these!

Good fabric thickness, not quite slim fit
These are pretty good quality shirts, on the thinner side without feeling cheap. Fabric still feels thick enough to be quality, but not so thick that it feels bulky under a shirt. The cut on these shirts is not exactly what I would describe as "slim fit", though. In my humble opinion, they're about halfway between a normal cut and what I would expect as "slim fit" (which would be a form-fitting cut). For reference, I'm 6'2", 190lbs, with broader shoulders and a trim middle (not rail thin, though). After washing one time, they shrunk a tiny bit and felt a little slimmer around the middle, which is good.Overall, a good buy, but don't expect a European-style slim fit.

Been looking for awhile for an undershirt like this
The shirt is exactly what I have been searching for quite some time now.Pros:- Simple thin material - I don't like the new age undershirts that feel more like Under Armour stretch material or the ones that are too thick. This shirt is very thin feeling, you forget its there.- V Neck - The v neck is a good size, a little larger than a normal v neck on a shirt so it fits nicely underneath all shirts and the collar won't pop out randomly- Modern Fit - I'm 6'0 and about 185lbs, don't have a belly and this fits nicely around my body. I wear lots of "modern fit" dress shirts at work and this doesn't bunch or feel bulky underneath themCons:- Really really wish this came in black, i've been searching for awhile and can't seem to find the 'slim fit v neck' in black. Hopefully soon!.

Soft, Comfortable, Chest-hair Displaying Undershirts
I've seen others talk about the "slim-fit" moniker and would agree that it doesn't match the product. Whatever size you normally wear, order it. I'm an XL t-shirt wearer and my XL undershirts fit just the way I'd want.Beyond that, I'd have you know about the luxuriant softness of these chest-hair displaying undershirts. Because, you know, they're super soft. To go along with that softness, and largely because of it, they're also really comfortable. And, finally, if you've got a little chest hair, the V on the neck is going to be a little lower than your other undershirts, so get ready to put on a mirror-show (or a show for your spouse if she's into that kind of thing).TL:DR -- these shirts are soft and comfortable, the V is a little lower than my other undershirts, buy the size you normally wear.

Great product but too expensive
The main advantages of this undershirt is that it is slim fitting and the V-neck is very deep. The slim fit helps if you're wearing slim fit shirts since there will be very little excess fabric from the undershirt, giving you a "blank canvas" on which to put your main shirt. The deep V-neck helps when wearing dress shirts with the 2nd button undone, as you should if you're not wearing a tie.My biggest complaint, and the reason that I'm only giving 4 stars, is the price. You can get a 6 pack of the regular cut v necks for the same price so this makes for pretty expensive undershirts but there is really nothing out there cheaper.

Perfect Fit
When I noticed that hanes started offering slim fit undershirts, i was all over it. There is nothing worse than wearing a regularly sized undershirt with a slim fit dress shirt. It's like wearing a tent underneath your wetsuit.Thankfully i stumbled across these right as I was in need of some new undershirts. Great fitting shirts, my only concern is that they are a little thin, and I am wondering how many washes they will withstand before breaking down, either in quality or shape, but 2 weeks in with 1 wash in the middle, so far so good!

Taller and slimmer, your search has ended!
im a tad over 5'10", weigh 165 lbs. I always buy the slim dress shirts for work. After a long time searching I found these. There are better slim undershirts out there, but nothing that'll even come close to the price of these. They're 60/40 cotton/polyester. I was very pleasantly surprised at just how soft they are. They run a little longer than most shirts I wear, but that's the point. It's difficult to find a shirt for my build. Just tuck this undershirt in before throwing something over it. Now I just need to find longer shirts to go over these and I won't look like I'm still wearing hand-me-downs.

Snug but comfortable if you're slim
I'm 6'5" and 185 - tall and slim. I've been looking for lightweight tshirts for warmer weather that don't hang on me like an oversized suit. I ordered mediums in these "lightweight slim fit t-shirts" and am pretty happen with them. These fit snugly and are a lightweight mix of 60% Cotton/40% Polyester. They are a good choice for warm days and I'd certainly buy them again. I may try large next time to see if that's a better fit across the chest. Recommended!
