This is a really good protective case but it’s not perfect. There’s very few case options available for my Samsung model but this one is the best I’ve found so far. It’s actually the exact replacement of my previous case. The fit and function is great but over time the two corners not attached to the flap are going to crack off. The corners are hard plastic but not molded evenly in thickness which is why it cracks after a couple of years of light use, likely sooner under rough use. To reinforce the corners I covered the corners with Sugru moldable glue which supports the thinner areas. Photos attached show Sugru on corners.

I have tried many cases and this one was exactly what I was looking for. It is solid to protect the tablet. I like that it has a spot for the stylus within the case. It also stands up perfect for meetings or streaming any content. I highly recommend this product. A+

I have always used cases similar to this for my tablet which was a Nexus 10. When the battery finally started cutting out randomly I decided that it was time for a new tablet which meant a new case. This one has been perfect for me so far as it is a design style I really like. The magnets holding it closed or folded behind for the kickstand work pretty well. The S-pen slot beneath the tablet is just perfect. It holds it securely enough that I don't worry about it falling out even when the cover is open and when the cover is closed it is pretty much guaranteed to stay where it belongs. The one thing I was worried about with this tablet is if I have the pen and have to carry it around the pen would end up being destroyed in a pocket or just left at home. Now I don't have to worry about it. I always have it with the tablet ready to go. The one issue I have noticed is that the magnets on the cover when it is folded over a certain way so that they sit near the middle of the screen will make the S-pen functionality be off. How ever the screen is able to track the pen and the touches any magnetic influence will mess it up. I don't know if the ones near the top have caused the same problem but since I normally use the pen near the middle of the screen that has not been a major issue.

The cover was OK but it does not allow you to set the tablet on a desk and stand up. It is only a cover and from the picture I thought it was a cover with ability to stand. Wasn't what we thought it was going to be so had to return it.

Updated Review I appreciate the seller for reaching out to apologize for my poor experience with the previous case and try to make it right. Because of that, I decided to give the case another try and ordered a replacement. The new one had a slight odor, but nothing like the overwhelming odor of my previous case, and this time, the smell disappeared/became unnoticeable almost immediately. I deliberately waited until I'd used the new case for a while to update my review. It's been over a month and so far so good. Hoping this continues to hold up well. Original Review I bought this case a while ago and debated about returning it for a long time. My first issue was the terrible overpowering almost fish-like smell of the case. Airing it out in the sun for over 2 days and spraying it with an odor remover did not work; the smell finally disappeared, but it took many weeks. The second issue was the area housing one of the magnets weakened and part of the casing came off and has continued deteriorating. Unfortunately, there aren't many great options in cases for this model since it's now over 6 years old. I do like the auto wake feature of the cover and the better protected slot area inside the case for the S-pen.
