Giro Scamp MIPS

We have Giro helmets for both our 2 year old and almost 4 year old. These are very well made and I feel more comfortable that my kids are protected. These have a small adjustable know in the back by the neck to tighten the helmet after its on which is convenient. We love the print of the purple flowers for our daughter. She smiles so big and loves her big girl bike helmet.

Giro Scamp Youth (small) - Right out of the box, unlike another 5-star review brand here on Amazon (which was lacking in quality), everything looked and felt well made. Unlike that other brand (see the helmet that has more vents in it, photo attached), this one had straps that were threaded correctly first of all versus being missing or installed backward (2 different returns). I put it right on my granddaughter's head (2-yo) and it sat like a helmet is supposed to sit, down on her head without any adjustment. While still on her I used the knob on the back to easily tighten the fit slightly, and she wore it all day in the house without the chin strap even adjusted, just leaving it loose. The helmet just fit comfortably yet snugly like that.

Was having a hard time finding something for my 2yr old son that would fit his head. This helmet fits well and also is protective. It's a great solution to the cheap foam helmet if you want something safe that fits well and doesn't have a barbie or dinosaur on it.

Ordered this helmet for our 10 Month old for trailer riding and as advertised, it is much more low profile in the back to allow a more comfortable head position while riding in a trailer. It adjusted small enough to fit her 45.5 cm head and while I can’t say that actually adjusting it on a moving baby was “easy” it adjust just like an adult helmet, allowing for a very customized fit with lots of room for growth. I can’t say this will last her “years” but likely will last through the entire riding season this year

I bought 2 of these helmets, 1 for each of my daughters, and they fit really well and stay on their heads properly. We have had issues in the past with helmets sliding around and unsafe fit, no matter how the helmet was adjusted. These adjust easily, stay where they need to be, and are comfortable for my girls. The design is super cute, to boot!

Great fit, after adjusting the straps which is easier said than done. Otherwise its good; lightweight, and fits true to size range, with enough room to grow into.
