Excellent mat - the best I've owned. Bought blue for £40 (whilst also considering £105 Liforme for alignment markings & reputation). I am very satisfied. I like the smooth rubber surface; very comfortable, grippy & no unnatural smell. (Doesn't interfere with my yoga transitions as others have said but I think this is more representative of our bodies than our mats!) The size is perfect (larger than many) and yet it isn't very heavy. The thickness is comfortable for my knees (which hurt on thin mats) even when placed on a wooden floor and it doesn't slip. TIP: Consider the fitted microfiber towels which attach via corner pockets also - they are an excellent addition.

Having just received this mat I cannot give a detailed review - however first impressions are extremely positive. I teach yoga and my current mat is disintegrating, so I began researching the mats on offer. After careful consideration I opted for an ethically produced mat from an independent small company. So far I have been very impressed. The mat looks beautiful, and lives up to the claims of non-slip and lightweight and comfort. I cannot however comment on its longevity. I will be using the mat on a daily basis and will post an update in the future . I hold out great hopes for this lovely mat. Happy camper so far. Review Update: I have been using this mat for months now and am no less impressed than when it arrived. It still looks great. It is a tad larger than most mats but remains lightweight. It is not particularly thick but it has quality and density that in my mind makes it the perfect mat. I teach yoga and use the mat on a daily basis. When asked by my class to recommend a good mat I have no hesitation in recommending this one! I see more and more of them appearing in my sessions and am happy to report that those who have purchased them are delighted with the recommendation. Keep up the good work!

Best value for money pro level yoga mat! The first one I ordered never arrived so asked for refund and was not best pleased, but I really wanted this mat so reordered and the second time round it came punctually. It really does what it says on the tin! Finally no slipping in dow dog, split dog etc... Manufacturer sent use and care advice just before it arrived. There is a light rubbery smell upon unpackaging it but not as tragic as some comments would have you thinking. I just wiped it with baby wipes and left it to air for one day or so and it seems to have done the trick. Love the colour, which is original and just right, not too brash or too dark, as yoga mats tend to have it. Would have been 5 stars if a carrier bag was provided, too. The straps are good, but considering I walk to my yoga studio with the mat on my back and I live on the British Isles where the weather's usually not great, extra protection would have been appreciated.

I've been doing pilates/yoga for about 2 years now, once a week and decided it was time to upgrade my very cheap mat for something more stylish and hardwearing. Bits had been falling off my old mat for a while, so it had to go. i decided on the IUGA pro non slip mat in navy blue, and couldn't be more pleased with it. It has improved my stability on the mat, as the previous mat i had was too thick and spongy, this one is comfortable (at 5ml thick), completely non-slip and lightweight, i had no issues with my feet or hands slipping at all, very impressive. I was initially worried it would be too big as it was described as being extra large, but it is only an inch or so wider than the mats in my studio, so doesn't bother anyone else or invade their space! and is the perfect length for me ( i am 5'10) so my feet don't hang over the end! I absolutely love it, and wish i'd got one sooner. It soon flattened out as soon as i started to use it and i had no issues at all. Delivery was really quick, came in a thin box with a sturdy carry strap included and instructions on how to clean the mat if needed. I think cost per use it's good value for money, and would buy from this company again.

What a mat! I have been doing yoga for just over a year and I have tried various mats throughout this time. Some have been awful, painful to use (jute is not for me!) and some have just been too slippy. I do hot yoga and can say that this mat is 100% non slippy. I have used it in my own home at a normal temperature and it has been excellent. I then took it to my hot vinyasa flow class, which is held in a high temp room with a heated floor, for 75 mins and my mat did not budge 1 mm, it was fantastic! And I sweat, bucketfuls! Proper, running down your back sweat, gross but awesome at the same time lol. There is a slight odor from the mat but it's insignificant in comparison to the excellent performance of the mat and it's already easing. It's lightweight and I love the colour of it. The width is perfect and it's long enough for me, I'm 5'6". I am super pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this fabulous mat.

I ordered this yoga mat as a birthday gift to myself. Originally I had been planning on buying a yogi bare mat, but the "eco friendly" of this mat caught my eye. I was so incredibly excited to receive this mat the morning before a yoga class, and was delighted to try it out. First of all, it was so much lighter to carry the 15 minute walk down to my class. The carry strap is sturdy, and long enough to wear it across my body instead of over my shoulder. The next thing I noticed was how soft this mat was. I have a trick knee that needs a bit of extra cushion, and this mat was perfect to cushion my knee without messing up my form. The non slip component was my favourite part. I have incredibly sweaty palms and feet and I found that even near the end of practice I still wasnt slipping. This has helped me to improve all of my stances and build a stronger practice over the past two weeks that I've had this mat. I also will note that I loved the colour option. It was the same as pictured and I was able to get my signature colour! I am so excited to have a mat that is clearly durable enough to last me years!

Ce tapis change la vie pour quelqu’un qui a les mains qui transpirent au yoga. J’avais tendance à me crisper souvent en chien tête en bas ou autres positions car mes mails glissent. Je pense qu’il est au même niveau / qualité qu’un liforme! Dommage que la marque ne soit pas connue plus que ça

Me encanta el color y el tacto de la esterilla, en mi opinión es una muy buena compra, el único problema es que se mancha muchísimo en el momento (aunque desaparece después de la clase), por ello me compré una toalla antideslizante que no sirvió para nada (si estas pensando en comprar una toalla antideslizante yo no te lo recomiendo, porque la tengo muerta de risa) si estas dudando en el color elige la más oscura, aunque esta es preciosa se mancha con las huellas de las manos y de la frente, pero es totalmente perfecta para su uso no resbala nada en las posturas, es perfecta de grosor, no pesa, y de nuevo el tacto es súper suave. por ponerle una pega sería la cuerda para trasnportarla, que la he cambiado por otra porque tiene el tacto y el peso de un cinturón de coche y no me mola pero la esterilla es genial. Lo mejor de LO mejor!

I have used other "non-slip" mats that aren't non-slip at all. With this mat, I don't slip at all. Compared with other mats I have that are actually non-slip mats, I found that is was pretty cushy and comfortable on my knees, and I have had surgery on both knees. It's not as cushy as some of the mats I've used that weren't as grippy (had me constantly readjusting my hands during downdog or evan a little scared in downdog), but I find the extra grip to be much friendly on my joints than so much cushion as to have me not able to grip the mat or the mat not gripping the floor. I do sweat in my normal home practice and haven't had a problem with slippage there, but I haven't tried this mat in a hot yoga class yet, so I can't speak to how it would do if thoroughly wet. I wouldn't exactly say that the mat is "odor free", as it does have a distinct smell. I wouldn't really call it an "odor" either though as it doesn't bother me. It's not as strong as the smell of other yoga mats/doesn't smell like a tire shop, but that even that never bothered me as much as it seems to bother some anyway. It does wipe clean pretty easily (compared with some other mats I've used with a similar surface), but I will say that it does take longer to air dry than other mats I've used with comparable surface. Where the others I've used are usually dry in under 30 minutes, this one is never dry that soon and ends up being moved out of the floor and to a coffee table to dry while I head to work. I can't speak to long term durability yet because I've only had it for a few months, but so far it is holding up well. For the price, I'd say it's a good yoga mat and will stay in my rotation.

I have been debating about what mat to get for months!!! I hate to shell out a bunch of coin and then not know if I’m going to love the mat. I’m a new yogi. I’ve been practicing a little over a year. I do yoga at a studio and at a gym. Hot and unheated. For unheated yoga this mat is fantastic!!! It grips so well. It’s long and wide and just gorgeous. I haven’t tried it for heated, but I spilled a little water on it and it was kind of slippery. I would use a towel for hot yoga anyway since I sweat so much. Seriously cooking butt soup in my leggings at every hot practice. I know you’re jealous. But that’s neither here nor there! Let’s get back to the mat... I got the blue marble and it’s lovely. I often have make up remnants on when I practice and it leaves a smudge during child’s and some other poses. Wipes right off!!! Don’t even have to use spray, just a towel and it cleans right off. Does smell a little rubbery, but it’s not strong and it gets better with each use. I’ve been using about 5 times a week for 3 weeks. This mat is so light!!! My old mat weighed a ton. This thing weighs way less than a bag of sugar! The strap is a nice addition but I don’t love it. I’ll get something else eventually. Don’t wait. You are going to be so happy you bought this mat—at half the price of some of those other brands! 8/13/20 My original post was obviously gushing over this mat. Years later and you bet, I still love it! I just purchased another. This time in the navy blue. The lighter blue marble did eventually show marks from my hands and feet that wouldn’t wash off. Strictly cosmetic. I have used the mat for hot yoga—and without a towel—and it’s fantastic! But I do have to remember to spread it out so it can dry after as it does hold the sweat. I still stand behind my review. Order this mat. Life is so yucky right now. You can at least count on this being a great mat and you’ll be that much closer to a deep breath and a little sanity.
