Great Portable Guitar
This is a great little guitar! I can't believe how compact and lightweight it is. The action is great - allows for ripping out some solos or riffs. I use it as my main guitar as I can practice with a headphone amp without annoying my family too badly. I use it with the strap exclusively whether standing or sitting - just my preference. I find that to be the most comfortable and functional. The lack of a tone or volume knob is not that bothersome to me since I can adjust those with the headphone amp (see pictures). I am particularly fond of this headphone amp: https://a.co/d/igHVRvy It's a Vanphy portable headphone amp for $26.99. It has a lot of great features for that price but it is especially funtional with this Traveler guitar because it uses a 1/4" inch cable instead of an integrated plug design. This guitar has it's cable jack in the back (see pictures). So, a headphone amp with an integrated plug design makes it so you can't easily access the controls when it's plugged in and it's uncomfortable as the headphone amp can dig into your stomach a little while playing. I have also written a review for this amp titled "Great Companion For The Traveler Guitar". I highly recommend this guitar and headphone amp combo!

Fantastic Little Guitar!
I can't say enough how much I love this little electric traveler's guitar! I bought and used it at a time when traveling when it was required to have the minimum amount of luggage, and it exactly suit my needs. I've taken it to the beach often (probably a bad idea because of the salt, but it shows no sign of extra wear), around with me on all-day adventures and it's survived quite a bit of rough, merciless travel and trekking. In it's case, it is very lightweight and easy to carry on your back, even underneath a backpack it feels natural and comfortable and because of its size is easy to control and doesn't whack into things. As far and quality and playability... I had no amp, so playing as if it were acoustic without being plugged in is still possible! It is quiet since there is nowhere for the sound to reverberate, but it has great sound that is beautiful, although I'm sure not as nice a huge-buck acoustic. It is nice just playing for yourself (would be too quiet without being plugged in to play for an audience larger than two or three up close to you), especially if you don't want to disturb others nearby by playing guitar. As far as durability, this thing is great! As said it's been brought around and handled somewhat roughly quite a bit, and I have all the confidence that this guitar will hold up for many, many years of use, if not my whole life, which I expect it will. The color doesn't chip away and all the materials are very solid and sure. The size is fantastic as mentioned, and it is easy to play, the neck is the same as a regular guitar in my opinion. The string knobs are at the bottom which is unusual but I love it actually. There are knobs that allow for a guitar strap, although I don't usually use one because it is very easy to hold up and grip on its own. The visual appearance of this guitar is fun and beautiful! I have a black walnut color on mine, and I couldn't ask for better to suit my preferences. On a fun note, I got a lot of comments from people asking what it was. In its case, some people asked if it was a rifle, a machete, and even a pool cue... interesting. That's just how this looks; interesting! I like being incognito, and sometimes that works because of the size, despite its strange appearance I definitely recommend this guitar to people looking for the same thing as me and who like quality and precision, especially to people often traveling or don't have the space, this guitar is perfect. This is one of the most favorite things I have ever bought for myself, and I would buy it again if something ever happened to it. I plan on always having this and might even use it as my primary guitar. There are absolutely no flaws; I love this guitar and it was worth every penny!

Very compact, very light, very well made, and very unstable
Very compact, very light, well designed, and what look like very good material and workmanship. Fits diagonally in a full size suitcase. The only criticism is that, because it is so light and compact, it is very difficult to stabilize the guitar. Perhaps you could attach it to a belt somehow. (This is the far opposite extreme of the old Les Paul, weigh-a-ton guitar!) For travel, this has got to be the best guitar around. If you're going to perform or do extended practice, I suggest lugging your regular guitar as a separate piece of luggage.

Great travel guitar, fits in overhead bins and light weight
What an amazing guitar!!! This little beast is perfect for travel and is light weight, fits in airline overhead bins and is ready for play at a moments notice. I bought for the purpose of travel so I can practice in hotels. Easy to transport and what really impressed me is how well it stays in tune! I love the dynamics of the humbucker pickup and having the full size neck is wonderful. When first purchased I was unsure of the playability due to it's size but with the provided lap/knee support this gem sits perfectly and does not dip or slide. It is a little difficult to tune on the 1st string due to the location of the tuning peg if you have meathooks like I do but since the tuning is so stable it really is not a big issue. I showed this to several friend who play and all have purchase since then. A great travel companion at a reasonable price, and already considering buying the piezo electric as well.

Perfect for Travel and Practice
I bought the Traveler Electric as a second guitar. I normally play an acoustic. I wanted something that I could take on car trips and since I already had an acoustic, I wanted to get an electric. It is perfect. I use a small earphone-amp and route it through a small travel speaker (Bluetooth travel speaker, but use a headphone wire into speaker line-in). Great, amazing sound and totally portable. I was concerned that the small size of the guitar might be awkward after playing my dreadnaught, but it turns out to be comfortable and easy to play. Craftmanship is excellent. I received the guitar in the one-day advertised delivery time on Amazon. Very happy with the purchase.

Great size/light weight
The size of this is perfect for a plane or car. There is no volume control so if you do plug into an amplifier keep that in mind. It holds the tune well. The tuning pegs are awkward to use and where to clip the tuner? The bottom left od the body seems to work best for me. The tuning don’t feel intuitive at all. I love having this at my desk too because I’m no longer banging the headstock of my other guitars on the desk return. Fret board plays and feels very similar to a fender neck. The u shaped rest is a great added feature and makes the instrument playable when sitting. I don’t know if I’d keep this if I lost that piece. I’m vsry happy with this purchase. It was packed well and has its own soft sided case.

Ok design, questionable manufacturing
About the design, I'd only add a volume knob -without having to buy a dongle. Well, maybe I'd place jumbo frets... in a thinner neck... too. And move the tunong pegs elsewhere... anyway, their design decisions aren't a surprise. Tuning is a bit annoying, but it's what it is -nothing one can't infer by looking at the pictures. Craftsmanship and parts... The fretboard work is questionable at best. The pickup is mediocre. The neck is quite thick -something I personally don't enjoy... but was expected as well. Regardless, it's not a guitar for shredding, as it doesn't offer a very natural playing posture. All in all, an average guitar, which serves its purpose as a portable guitar, and it's acceptable at its price point. In my opinion, greed (that is, overseas manufacturing, cheap parts) made this a mediocre product. At least from what I recall vs other guitars and basses in the same portable category (Steinberger, CA's TG). To be positive, the factory setup was quite good. The string action is too much for my taste -but in this guitar, you can't lower it much more without strings buzzing.

Super light weight, super portable super guitar!
Awesome guitar, exactly what I was looking for. Was almost in tune right out of the case, stays in tune with no problems. I travel for work and it fits under the seat in front of me while on an airplane. Can play it easily with just the leg support or with a strap. I play it mostly through a Vox headphone amp that I can also plug my phone into for using a metronome or for play along tracks. I also have a Martin backpacker which I really enjoy but this guitar is much shorter and also has a full length neck. Great instrument for the money!
