They germinated!
OK I’m gonna start this review by saying I am not a good gardener! I recently have picked up a green thumb and really was looking for some beautiful flowers to plant in the front of my house. I knew I wanted peonies, but then I found these Poppy peonies and fell in love! After receiving my package, I instantly started germinating a few of the seeds to see which method would be better…I did two methods. The first method was moistening a towel, putting it in a closed container, acting as a greenhouse, and leaving on the floor by my sliding glass door for sunlight and the cold. (they germinate best with cold weather apparently) the rest left in the package and placed in the refrigerator and have been in there for about a week and a half. The ones that I germinated in the moist, closed container took about a week and a half to sprout! I am getting ready to transplant the sprouts and plant the seeds in a few days and will update you with the results later this spring!

They germinate but they aren't the prettiest of poppies.
Years ago, I had a lot of poppies - red and pink. I was trying to get this combo back, now I finally have the room. Amateur gardener, I started them inside too early and too much in one go. If you are as amateur as I am, I would recommend using an old salt or pepper shaker rather than hands. The seeds are tiny and pour very easily. So, as a result of my non-expertise, they were crowded, and some still are. I also tried them in different places. In one of the photos, you'll see one I planted in a cinder block. I found this isn't the best place - it gets too hot and burns the leaves. What I had expected was more of a peony poppy, so far, these were not like that, though I have hopes for picture number 3, which just came out. The reds haven't started forming a bud yet (I guess that's what they are called) though I know they germinated. Not sure if it was the wrong place or what yet. I hope to have better success next year. Will gather seeds from this years batch.

Not a single one came up in 5 packs that’s roughly 10,000 seeds and 0 results
Nothing has came up! I’ve bought 7 packs. 2k seeds in each pack and NOTHING came up. I soaked for 12-24 hours, put in a wet cloth for a few days, froze for a bit, all which were recommended as well as just planted them without doing anything. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Nothing else like it Germination rate: 0 Germination: 0! I’m still waiting and maybe they’ll pop up next year! If so I’ll be back.
