Ace Carbide-tipped Saw Blade (2126704)

I picked up a new 12" sliding miter saw from Harbor Freight and needed blades for it and found this Ace blade at a reasonable price - these blades can be ridiculously pricey and as I'm not a contractor and only use the saw every once in a blue moon, an inexpensive blade was the way to go and this one fit the bill. It's a fine-tooth blade that gives you a nice cut.

I use this blade on my sliding compound miter saw, it has a very nice and clean cut. With 80 tpi I can cross cut even very hard woods with little effort and good results. I probably would not use as a ripping blade but I suppose it would work in a pinch. This blade is a great choice for critical cutting and finish work. God Bless and watch those fingers!

This is a very nice saw blade, reguardless of price. Mine has a .110" kerf and the and the wobble on my 1965 DeWalt contractor radial saw is .007" total indicator readout. Very good for a 12" blade. The cuts are as least as good as my Forrest 10" crosscut on my 1958 Delta radial saw. Can't do better than that!

Carbide tipped blade for $20? Almost makes you wonder why you should buy an expensive blade and possibly have it resharpened. There have been no issues with this blade at all. Only had it a few weeks, but very happy with it. I have used expensive blades before and I see no difference with this blade at this point. Unless this carbide dulls significantly quicker than the carbide on the expensive blades (which I seriously doubt), I will buy another one of these when it is time for a replacement.
