With the cleaning kit that came along with the package, I would suggest that you take time to clean the screen and make sure that it is completely clean before applying the screen on. Here's what I suggest, follow the instructions on the booklet and do the following1) Wet clean2) Dry clean3) Apply the installation tray4) Use the blue sticker to pick up any dust you can see (I happen to have Dust-Off, compressed gas duster)5) Apply the screen (be gentle, yet you have to use strength to get the screen to pop pass the installation tray)6) Remove the installation tray and press the screen firmly around the corners of the phone. I would just be sure that the protector is installed fully on the screen before putting your phone cover back.It fits perfectly and I'm so thrilled to have ordered this for both my phone (Note 9) and my husband's S8 plus. Ths screen protector for the S8 plus does have dot matrix on the screen, but my husband hasn't said anything (he hasn't noticed them!) So I don't think it affects anything. Just beware of the installation tray for S8 plus, it doesn't state which is the top.

The large beveled screen of my Galaxy 8s can be difficult to handle in a hurry and I use mine in my job. The phones' really large screen and my taking it out of the holster of the protective care I have it in more than a dozen times a day, creates a lot of chances for it to be dropped. I am a Network Engineer, when not designing where appliances/devices go I am often putting them in. I am all over the place talking with Network Operation Centers as I complete projects. I drop my phone sometimes putting it back in the holster or grabbing it out of the holster in a hurry and it slips...This protector is so much better than the one I got with the case. It is really tough and takes a licking. And I am very pleased with the replacement warranty. Worth every penny! It is a small price of prevention compared to the nightmare of replacing the phone because the screen cracked. I bought others before and they were a disappointment on arrival. Do not hesitate, get one to protect your phone. You will be glad you did!!!

Overall ok and will protect the screen for the S8 Plus.Pros:- It is clear and finger slides well on the screen protector.- It is easy to install and the tray made it pretty simple. Just make sure you slide it all the way to the top otherwise it will be slightly misaligned and the top of the screen will have an overlap.- Customer service and replacement process is great. Replacement came fairly quick and the process was pretty easy. This is the main reason why I gave it 3 stars.Cons:- The screen is only adhesive around the edges so you can tell there is air under the screen when tapping it.- The side of the screen protector cracked all the up the side where the screen curves when applying both the first time and the second time with the replacement. See pictures for the slight crack. Not terrible but noticeable on white backgrounds.- (Update 11/22/18): Dust is starting to get under the screen.I will continue using the screen protector to keep it from scratches on the actual screen. I will update this if any of this changes.11/22/18: Dust is starting to get under the screen so I updated my con section and dropped it 1 star.

This screen protector comes with everything to install it easily including a template to align it correctly on the phone. It has protected many mishaps with my phone. and I'm glad I purchased it. It does seem to be more fragile than screen protectors I have had in the past but this may be because this screen protector only attaches around the edges since the Galaxy S8 has a curved screen. I wish they could put adhesive on the whole protector like the flat ones I have had. This company has a great replacement warranty if the screen protector cracks, they will replace it. I will continue to buy this one.

This is one of the worst screen protectors I’ve purchased. The adhesive on it was lacking from day one, I kept having to reapply it. It continually falls off the screen when holding the phone in a vertical position. Really not much protection at all. Unfortunately it’s too late to return it as the window has passed. Have used a lot of screen protectors in the past. Think twice about purchasing

This was a waste of money. I had bought these in the past and had problems with them, but never bothered to review them.But this was the third and last time I will purchase them.The first two times, I purchased them for my husband and shortly after for myself.Both his and mine cracked. I just ordered them again, thinking it was just a fluke.Well, I was wrong, these have done the same thing. They crack very easily, then they spider out in all directions.I have made a note of the company so I won't waste anymore money with them.

Will definitely buy this screen protector again, if needed! I have bought so many different brands, some cheaper, some much more expensive. This is a mid range price, and it has outperformed even the higher priced ones I have purchased, by far!Installation is made very simple and precise, it comes with a plastic frame that you place over your phone to ensure a perfect installation. It adheres extremely well, dust or debris never made it's way under it, and it never just popped off. The screen sensitivity is fantastic, no issues there whatsoever!I had this in my phone for a couple of months before a small crack along the side formed, not sure what happened there. But most others I have purchased cracked very easily. Even with the crack, the protector continued to work flawlessly. And true to their word, Otao stands behind the quality of their product, and sent a replacement when it did crack (for the original purchased product. Subsequent replacements are not covered). I am very happy with this product and am very pleased with extremely quick and courteous customer service. I highly recommend this screen protector 🙂
