Looks wonderful with my girlfriend tied up in it, she really likes the color...

I had hoped I could use this for shibari, however I didn't read the details thoroughly enough I suppose because when it arrived was a very wimpy a thin rope....:(

The image that is shown is larger than the actual rope itself. 5mm is way smaller than I thought. Here is a picture of the rope in a coffee cup to show the actual size.

the rope was very soft, and a good length. the width and softness are great for shibari, but it’s a bit thin for other types of tying. it comes unraveled a bit easier than I’d hoped, but other than that it’s exactly what I needed. if you’re interested in that kind of thing, make sure to check that 5mm is the width you’re looking for.

Alright Boys, Girls, and future knot tying experts, here’s the sitch: I’ve used it on my significant other. They love it. Enough said. Plenty of rope for your spider web weaving activities! It’s soft, easily glides, but holds fast when in a knot. And come on, it’s pink!

I really wish it gave us options for half stars, I would give this 2.5, but not 3. I will start with the positives: the colors are vibrant and the outside is satiny. The down side and it's a huge one for me, it is not colored all the way through. I searched the description again and cannot find anywhere that states it is satiny colored fibers wrapped around white cord. I will now need to find a a way to cover the ends of the cords as they are very visible in what I intended to use it for making my final result look unfinished and cheap.

Be sure to double check the size that you want! I purchased this thinking that 5mm would be much thicker than it is. It is definitely thinner in person than it appears in the image.The rope is a beautifully rich color and I haven't experienced any bleeding of the dye. It also is remarkably soft and very flexible!

I liked it, east to use, flexible, accepted knots easily. My wife said the material was smooth and soft and was comfortable even when tight. When cut you do have to do your own termination or risk unraveling the whole rope. Would definitely like to purchase more to add more knots and more detailed kinbaku.
