MUST HAVE!
A life saver and must for any baby shower or registry. You don’t know how much it’s worth until you have a baby who is hurting or inconsolable . Worked great when my baby girl got fussy from her vaccines, trying to give her Tylenol with the syringe just pissed her off more but with pacidose she took it no problem and was asleep and calm within minutes. Never without this- have multiples for the diaper bag, medicine cabinet and kitchen. I have used for Tylenol, pedialyte with a newborn, gas drops gripe water. I can’t recommend enough.

I love the concept of the design
Original 2 star review: "I love the concept of the design: the nipple is soft and feels just like a regular pacifier and it feels like it's made out of quality materials. It worked really well, although we still tried to aim the nipple to the cheek in order to squirt the med to the side of the mouth when actually administering and then center the nipple for sucking and swallowing because sometimes when we would squirt while he was sucking, the med would catch him off guard and he choked a little. I'm only giving it two stars because 1) the silicone part seperated from the plastic hard peice (that stays outside the mouth) in less than a week, however it is still usable. 2) the part that you connect to the syringe is also made of hard plastic. It would be easier to attach different oral syringes if it was also made of silicone or another soft material (even though oral syringes are supposed to have a universal tip, some are thicker than others and some of ours fit better in the pacifier than others and some would disconnect and the medicine would spill but we did get better at it as we used it more)."After posting this review, I was promptly contacted by the makers of Pacidose who profusely apologized for the itemBreaking and immediately sent me a replacement at no charge. I waited a little while before writing this review. I have now been using our new Pacidose for about 6 weeks, at least twice a day and I will say we have been very happy with it. Our son quickly learned how to use the Pacidose as a straw and suck down his medicine (when we first used it he had some trouble figuring out why liquid was coming out of his pacifier and how to swallow it without choking) to the point that we barely have to press the plunger to get his to take his meds. The newer model has proven to be more durable than the first and does not show any signs of breaking. Therefore I'm changing my review to 5 stars.

Very helpful device
This medicine dosage pacifier was very helpful for my baby when she needed medication daily for a period of four months. I like that she could be sucking on the pacifier and all I had to do was depress the plunger of the syringe into the pacifier to release the medication which immediately went into her mouth. I was a little concerned that I'd be leaving some of the medication in The Pacifier since she was on such a small dosage of the medication she was on it was important that she received every single drop. I found them when I removed the syringe from The Pacifier while she was still sucking on it every drop of medication would drop down into her mouth. This is very helpful because she got real tired of taking medication and would often choke or gag herself when I provided the medication to her via syringe. I'm very thankful that we were able to find an alternative method to provide her medication to her. I Purchased this product on my own this was not received in exchange for an honest unbiased review.

Life Saver
This product was a life saver. Our newborn has acid reflux, and so we were prescribed oral medication to treat him with. However, he hated it. It actually upset him to the point that he almost bucked himself out of his bassinet at only 6 weeks old. After doing some research, I found this product online. As we were uncertain at the time whether it was the bitter taste of the medicine or the invasive process of putting an applicator in his mouth that upset him, we were hesitant to spend the $15 for the Pacidose. In the end, we took the plunge (pun intended). Let me say that the product not only worked but that it completely took all of the stress out of giving him his medicine. He even seems to enjoy it now (so it turned out that it wasn't the taste). Many reviews here bash the Pacidose, stating that the applicator measurement marks came off right away. This did also happen to us, though we've been using ours for a month and a half and still have up to the 3ml mark. The important thing to know here is that the applicator can be replaced by ANY applicator. They give us a new one at Walgreens every time we fill his order, so we have numerous backups now. In the end, the "problem" wasn't a problem for us at all.

Great product, excellent customer service
We ordered this for our 1 month old's reflux meds. The design is excellent - as long as we wait until he's hungry, he actually draws the meds through the pacifier himself. The process is painless for everyone now, and we don't have to worry about him spitting anything out.We had an initial issue with one of the pieces connecting the pacifier to the syringe adapter breaking off while hand washing, but the company sent us a new one immediately without question. Excellent customer service! The only cons I see with this product are the syringe it came with (it gets stuck easily and you could end up pushing a lot of medicine through at once) and the syringe adapter piece pulling away from the pacifier.Because this product takes any standard syringe from your pharmacy or even otc infant medications, the first con is really a non issue. More of a waste of plastic for us since we don't use it.The second one I mentioned is more cosmetic as the pacifier still functions perfectly (for now) but it does seem to separate slightly every time we sterilize it. I'll update this if that changes in the future.Overall, I'd recommend this to any parent who needs to give medication to their extra little ones. We use this twice a day every day and I can't imagine giving him his meds any other way.
