This amplifier is incredible for the price. Great quality, adjustments to output and subwoofer, multiple input types.

Was a great find for my project. I used it to power a ported subwoofer and two four-inch coaxial speakers that I use as a TV sound bar. Hosyond builds a great and useful product.

Although the product has potential, I had to return mine because the IR remote red plastic filter on the unit popped off during shipping. The filter is hot glued to the metal faceplate.Some other observations is the unit starts up in Bluetooth mode. Can't seem to keep the previous mode. And my older LG TV shares the same IR codes with this unit so they interfere with each other.

I wanted to use this in my garage, so made a case for it out of 3mm acrylic (you will definitely want to put this in a box because there is high voltage on the power supply board). My case is about 275mmW x 100mmH x 100mm D, which is about the smallest case that you could use.I suspect this was intended as a replacement for cheap karaoke systems (it has two 1/4" microphone inputs with echo, which I didn't test). It even says "🎤Karaoke" on the front panel. You have to use the remote to switch between the line input, Bluetooth, and (analog) FM modes (though it'll go to Bluetooth input when a remote device connects).There is no mode display, so you have to listen to the voice prompts when you change modes. These are given in very highly accented English. There is a hard to see power LED that indicates when the amp is enabled (the physical power switch must also be on, of course). There is no FM frequency display.The subwoofer controls are crossover frequency and volume. I found that with the frequency knob fully clockwise the peak frequency was about 80Hz.The front panel says "50W+50W+100W". This is way different from the specs in the item title ("220Wx2 + 350W").I was curious about its actual performance, so I hooked it up to a 5Ω load resistor, low-distortion signal generator, and my Keithley 2015 THD (total harmonic distortion) multimeter. Using the line input with the volume control at maximum, the right channel stayed below 0.5% THD up to an output of about 35W (input 600mV RMS), then the distortion rose sharply as the wattage was increased. At 47W the distortion had risen to about 14%.Testing the subwoofer channel, I found that the distortion was about 1% at 39W, rising sharply to about 16% at 51W. At 61W the distortion was a whopping 31%.If I were to write the specifications for this amp, I would say that it was 35W/channel x 2 + 40W for the subwoofer.The build quality is OK for what it is.So: is it "HIFI"? I wouldn't say that it was. Is it "50W+50W+100W"? No. Though the R+L channels can put out 50W, the distortion is about 15% at that wattage. And the subwoofer has already got over 30% distortion at 60W (I didn't try to push it to its limits).And the specs in the item title ("220Wx2 + 350W") appear to be entirely made up.

I picked this up for a small speaker project where I wanted something simple that could run two speakers and a subwoofer without needing a huge amp setup. For what it is, this little D800 Bluetooth receiver amplifier is pretty useful. It is compact, easy to fit into a small box or DIY speaker build, and it gives you a good amount of control right on the front panel.The main thing I like is that it has the 2.1 setup built in, so you get left and right speaker output plus a separate subwoofer output. That makes it a lot more useful than a basic Bluetooth amp board if you are trying to build a small home speaker, garage speaker, desktop setup, or a portable speaker box. The front knobs are also nice because you can adjust bass, treble, total volume, and subwoofer volume without needing an app or extra controls. I like having the subwoofer volume separate because sometimes the bass is too much depending on the music, and it is nice to turn it down quickly.Bluetooth connected pretty easily for me. I did not have to fight with it much, and once connected, it stayed pretty stable. The sound is better than I expected for something this small. It gets loud enough for a small room, workbench area, bedroom, or garage setup. I would not expect it to shake the whole house, but for a DIY speaker build or smaller setup, it has plenty of power. The highs and mids sound clean enough, and the bass output is nice if you pair it with a decent little subwoofer.The board itself looks pretty clean and the front panel is laid out well. Everything is labeled clearly, which helps a lot when you are wiring it up. I also like that it has multiple input options, not just Bluetooth. Having USB and other inputs gives you a little more flexibility depending on how you want to use it.A few things to keep in mind though. This is still a DIY style amp board, so it is not really something I would recommend to someone who has never wired speakers or power supplies before. You need to be comfortable checking polarity, using the right power supply, and mounting it properly so nothing shorts out. The board is exposed on the back, so you really should put it into some kind of case or speaker box instead of leaving it loose on a table. The knobs also feel okay, but they are not super premium feeling. They work fine, but they feel like what you would expect on a budget amp board.Also, the final sound depends a lot on your speakers, subwoofer, and power supply. If you use weak speakers or a cheap power adapter, you probably will not get the best results. With a decent setup, it sounds good. With a poor setup, it may seem weaker than expected. That is not really the amp’s fault, but it is worth knowing before buying.Overall, I am happy with it. It is a neat little amplifier for a custom speaker project, garage music setup, or small home audio build. It has enough power for normal use, the Bluetooth works well, and the separate subwoofer control is a big plus. It is not a fancy finished amp, and you will need to do a little setup work, but if you are buying this type of board, that is probably what you expect anyway. Good value for a small 2.1 Bluetooth amp setup.

I don’t claim to be a diehard audiophile, but I am definitely a big A/V enthusiast accustomed to listing through high-end equipment in a dedicated home theater/music room. This little amplifier cannot hold a candle to high-end setups, but it has absolutely raised the bar and exceeded my expectations for what I thought a $30 amp could deliver. I played this at high volume long enough to thoroughly piss off the wife and kid, to see if it would overheat… typical Class D, didn’t even break a sweat. This amp produces louder, clearer, cleaner sound than it has any right to. I’m genuinely impressed. Its range of inputs and adjustability is also impressive, although I doubt most people will use them all. It’s not without its quirks, though. I bench tested this with a large floor-standing tower speaker that I have a good frame of reference with for how it sounds on good amps. Initially, I hooked up just one output from the amp’s right channel to the speaker. It sounded pretty terrible. Turns out the L & R outputs are not full range and crossed over at some fairly high, but unknown, frequency. Fortunately, the test speaker was bi-amp capable, so I rewired it to run the 10” woofer off the sub channel and the mids/tweeter off the right. That made a huge difference. Sound was now full and robust. I still notice a bit of that distinctive Class D harshness, but with enough fiddling of the bass, treble, and sub frequency and volume, you can mellow it out a lot. I see this amp being a perfect fit for powering some outdoor speakers or setting up with a TV where you don’t need/want a full multi-channel system. Or maybe just mount it into an old set of passive speakers to turn them into a super capable Bluetooth speaker. Gotta say, for an inexpensive project amp, this one checks all the boxes.

.I'm installing this unit in a cabin bedroom as auxiliary sound. A phone pairs easily for music and overall better audio playback than the phone speaker can manage.This amplifier sounds clear and composed. Music holds a proper separated sound and show dialog comes through with clarity.Input options cover just about everything. Bluetooth, AUX, USB, TF, and RCA make it flexible for whatever source ends up in the room.Controls respond predictably. Volume and bass adjustments behave smoothly without sudden jumps or distortion.The metal housing delivers extra value. The brushed panel and compact form give it a retro presence to me that I like..I prefer it as an assembled DIY style unit. That makes it easy to place in an ergonomically appropriate spot instead of being locked into a fixed layout.This unit delivers clean sound and broad utility in a compact package. It performs reliably, adapts to multiple audio needs, and runs like a champ.
