Is this cuff too big for a small arm ?

How small is small? If it’s for a child then check out to see if they come in child-like sizes. Or ask the seller. I bought this for my grown up son. Having said that, they do have “Velcro” to tighten it around the upper arm. I would highly recommend it as one of the best on the market, and endorsed by the NHS. Sorry that I can’t be more helpful. x

Can you confirm the size of the cuff for me please?

25-42cm. Stocks in Amazon from November 2022 onwards now come with a wide range arm cuff for 22-42cm arm circumference which will fit almost all adults.

Is the Arrhythmia dectection meant to flash as the boood pressure is being taken? It flashes as it's taking the reading on everyone I've tried

It flashes until the reading is ready then it stops. That is what happens with ours. You have to wait until the figures are static and then that is your reading. Hope that helps!
