Artizen 2oz Oils - Lavender Essential Oil - 2 Fluid Ounces

Best one. I was reluctant to try another brand especially one that seemed to be higher in price Glad I did. This one has great smell and I am using considerably less then previous brands so it works out to the same price for way better quality and smell. I am done searching. I found my brand.

I was given a small ultrasonic diffuser as a gift years ago and, to my surprise, really liked it. I don't like flowery or artificial smells but it came with a selection of scented oils that were pleasant and not overpowering. I can also add camphor or menthol to it if I'm congested and it helps me breathe a bit better. One of the oils I tried in the diffuser was lavender. I really liked it so when I ran out I bought this one to try. A few drops fills the room with a light smell of lavender. Maybe I'm getting soft in my old age, but it's nice to turn the diffuser on and come back a few minutes later to a room that's been lightly scented. Way better than most air fresheners as far as I'm concerned.

I have bought other Lavender oils in the past - some cheap, some expensive. This brand is a great bargain for the price. I use it often, sometimes in a diffuser. But the scent is just as good as expensive brands. If there is a problem, I would say that the scent doesn't last as long in a diffuser as other brands. But overall, this is my brand for oils now! Give it a try & save a few bucks!

I can definitely say this smells absolutely true to being lavender essential oil. What did surprise me was the expiration date had past! Honestly, if it was not 100% pure lavender it may not have been okay, but it is perfectly fine!! I haven’t ever noticed a date on other essential oils I have bought, so I just opened it anyway! It also comes with the normal small hole top for dispensing AND a dropper! NICE! I would buy again from here if I need it again!

I’ve been looking for the best scents on Amazon and I ran into quite a few duds along the way… cheap scents and bottles that would break open during shipping. BUT FINALLY!! I have found the BEST quality and value on Amazon!! When I first saw the Artizen labels compared to other oil brands I was a bit put off, because they look cheap. But the price made me decide to give it a shot and they are amazing!! The bottles come with caps screwed on VERY tight so I needed to use a rubber cap gripper to open it. Good so that the oils don’t spill during shipping. And every bottle comes with a FREE dropper cap! I immediately threw away the normal caps and put the dropper caps on. With their wide selection of fragrances, I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more!

My daughter has issues with allergies due to laundry soap. The prices for name brand grocery store soaps for sensitive skin is outrageous! I buy Zote Flakes here on Amazon. I am NOT a fan of the smell however. Everyone says their clothes have that old man smell. I agree. Not a fan. I use Lavender for quite a few things. I grow it here and have developed a few ways of using it. I even bought a distiller to make tincture and oil. To be honest...I can't make it as well as this particular product. I am a regular consumer. I have one of those new washers that uses less water. Not a fan of that either. Anyway I found one that has a removable agitator...which I would only remove for blankets and such. I feel my soap flakes need some help so I use about one dropper full for a extra large load. My washer has a HUGE drum for extra large loads. Otherwise I use about 8 to10 drops of a dropper for a regular large load. I don't put directly on clothing. I will put my clothes in...find an open hole or spot between items and drop lavender down to the bottom of the drum. When my clothes come out they smell really nice. Not strong or perfume smelling. Just clean with a faint delicious lavender smell. Absolutely zero allergic reaction. I will never go back to using overpriced grocery store laundry soap again. Using this wonderful lavender in conjunction with Zote Flakes makes the perfect concoction. Clean and smells fabulous!!!!!!!

The scent is ok, once I dilute it. Artizen's products are highly concentrated. They all smell pretty bad when they are full strength. A good dilution for most normal adults for topical application is 12 drops per ounce to get a 2% mixture for regular daily use. 18 to get 3% for treating temporary conditions. The price is a bit high for one ounce, though there might be a good reason for that. I don't know what goes into making Lavender Oil . Yes, I know lavender, but I mean the process. I guess at 12 drops per ounce, one ounce of essential oil will still go a long way. I use this in a recipe as part of a scalp/hair, and a disinfecting skin/acne treatments that works pretty well. I'm sorry, if your looking for that lovely lavender scent that so many people enjoy, you won't find it here. I use it for its properties not its scent, so it is not an issue for me. If you want to tell if you essential oil is undiluted, put a drop of the oil (Non oily based like rose hip) on a white piece of paper, and if it disappears without leaving a oil spot, it has not been diluted with a carrier oil. If it does leave an oil spot, it is not pure. This oil disappears without leaving a trace.

I was so excited to get a larger bottle of a lavender essential oil for a great price. Unfortunately, it was a much weaker scent than I was expecting and hoping for. On the day that I was due to receive my order (including Peopermint and Eucalyptus oils as well), the company had sent me an email letting me know that they saw my order was due to be delivered and they wanted to hear back if I was satisfied with my order. Since they had taken the time to contact me, I decided I would respond once I received my order and had a chance to use the oils in my diffuser that night. I went ahead and wrote back and gave my honest opinion about the Lavender being much weaker than I had expected but that my other two oils were perfect. I explained that with the Lavender, I ended up having to use twice as much to get a fuller scent out of my diffuser. To my surprise, I received a response the next day and they offered to send me a different Lavender oil that would be stronger. I received it today as promised (less than a week later). I was also shocked to see that the company decided to refund my purchase price of the Lavender oil because I was not 100% satisfied. I hadn’t even requested this. Due to their amazing customer service and my other two oils having amazing scents, I will be returning as a customer for some of their other oils. It’s so rare to find amazing customer service like this. I highly recommend purchasing your oils from them as you’ve got nothing to lose with their 100% satisfaction guarantee (that they actually stand behind!).
