Totally superb faultless drama
These two seasons of The Crown are Tv/film production at its best - superb casting and acting, brilliant scriptwriting and camera work, and excellent accurate period details and background music. Everyone who worked on this did a fantastic job. It is the sort of totally class drama series that began in earnest with such as Band of Brothers, although the 1980s’ North and South was also superbly done. Even if you’re not particularly a fan of the monarchy, The Crown is so well done that it’s just engrossing viewing period.

High class production
Watching seasons 1&2 for the very first time, I can appreciate what all the fuss has been about. A really lavish production with great attention to historical detail. The cast and acting are top class. The direction, led by the amazing Stephen Daldry, is superb. I also enjoyed the magnificent opening theme music which builds the emotions towards the drama which follows.

Great show and good price for dvd
I bought this to send to my aunt as a present. It arrived safely and in nice condition. The packaging is really elegant and it contains the first two entire seasons for a great price. I’ve watched the show on Netflix and I really enjoyed it. Especially the first two seasons. Buy this if you like historical fiction and drama. Even just for the costumes and sets really. The acting is top notch, the cinematography is beautiful. Every episode looks like a film. Love it.

Fascinating!
Perfection!!! I have been a royal watcher for years. So it goes without saying that the shows were a must see for me. The detail is amazing, the scripts are well written and acting superb. A must see for sure. Long live the Queen!
