I’ve followed Dominique Ludwig for some time now and am delighted to say that this book TOTALLY lives up to expectations.Not only are the recipes I’ve tried so far delicious, there are tips as to what you could substitute if you don’t have a specific ingredient. Each recipe is carefully thought out to include the right amount of nutrients and they’re in blocks of breakfast, lunch & dinner, so very easy to locate what you’re wanting.My next mission is to make the bread that’s packed full of seeds & looks delicious.Thank you Dominique for bringing nutrition to the “masses” in an enjoyable, easy to understand way.

Looking to upgrade your eating habits? This is a fabulous book to help get you started
I have followed this lady on Insta, for years. She is amazing sharing recipes, healthy eating and nutrition advice for free. I’ve been waiting for this book since you could pre order. It far exceeds what I had hoped. She writes in a straight forward no nonsense style that is easy to understand. She uses fact based evidence and her extensive knowledge of nutrition from all her study to explain about healthy eating to us. Not just for weight loss, but for a better healthier life. As well as all the nutritional information there are meal plans and recipes. Breakfasts, lunches dinners. As well as healthy bread and sweet treats. I would recommend this book if you’re looking to understand more about why you need to eat more fibre and protein, that it’s ok to eat carbs and the best ones to eat. How to regulate your blood sugar and stop that food noise for sugary snacks. It works, I’ve been eating like this for over a year now. And feel so much better, not only for from the weight loss but mood regulation, energy, less anxiety and generally a lot better sleep.

Helpfully debunks food science in common sense way.
First few chapters are extremely helpful in explaining how food unpacks inside your body.It is no nonsense as title says.Recipes bring together a lot of things that are current thinking in healthy eating . Family liked them.Most importantly though are the principles of how to put a balanced plate together.

The best cook book ever
This is one of the best cook books I’ve ever bought. Lots of delicious recipes plus honest nutritional information. I love the bread replacements, especially the lentil bagels - they’re better than real bagels! The goats cheese and asparagus tart is delicious and I’ll definitely be using that “pastry” recipe for other savoury tarts. What a find this book is.

Buy this book for good health
When I ordered this book back in October 2025 I knew it was going to be fantastic. It is, and in fact it has surpassed my expectations. Dominique is brilliant, she is like the Martin Lewis of nutrition - she knows everything. I have been following her for ages on Instagram. About a year ago I took part in her Reset Renew Recharge programme and lost 18kg. When I started it, I was desperate for a solution to my weight problem, aches and pains. She talked sense. No UPFs and plenty of vegetables and pulses. The meals are easy to cook, relatively cheap to make and very tasty. I have cooked several dishes from the book and they are all great. The beef chilli with lentils and chocolate is great and so is the butter bean gnocchi. If you want to make healthy meals, free of UPFs, I cannot recommend this book more highly.

💯 The BEST nutrition book out there!!
💯 THE best nutrition book out there! I rate myself pretty clued up on nutrition anyway and these recipes are so exciting! Nutrition explained simply. Not complex recipes, plenty of diversity and look REALLY tasty! I love how she has got the balance of fibre, protein and carbs, she’s done all the hard work for you! Beautifully presented in colour so it’s appealing, I cannot wait to try all of them! None of this cheap black and white crappy publications that u get bored reading. I read previous posts about too many ingredients but most are cupboard staples plus they add flavour which is exactly the point! HONESTLY Worth every Penny! Well done Dominique!!

Lives up to expectations
Dominique came to my attention when a friend shared her fantastic red lentil bagel recipe with me. I feed and recommend them to anyone who comes near me, whether or not they have dietary restrictions - everyone loves them. I had the book on pre-order and I'm absolutely delighted with it. The wealth of information is very well presented and easy to understand. The thing I find most annoying and time cosuming when trying to maintain a healthy eating plan is having to log all my ingredients/meals to ensure I'm getting the correct proportions. This book makes it simple as all the meals are perfectly balanced, not to mention delicious and visually appealing. Thoroughly recommended.

Ich folge Dominique Ludwig seit langem auf Insta und bin einfach nur glücklich, ihre Rezepte und Ernährungstipps jetzt auch in Buchform zu haben!Im Buch erklärt sie zunächst sehr anschaulich und ausführlich die wissenschaftlichen Grundlagen und Prinzipien der von ihr empfohlenen Ernährungsweise: Was bewirken die Mikro- und Makronährstoffe in unserem Körper, was und wieviel davon benötigen wir? Welche Lebensmittel sind dabei empfehlenswert, wie sollten die Proportionen einer Mahlzeit sein? Dazu gibt es Essenspläne und jede Menge wunderbare, einfach umzusetzende Rezepte. Auch Brot und Süßes ist dabei.Ich habe schon viele der Rezepte ausprobiert, und sogar meine Teenager essen gerne mit. Obwohl der eine Vegetarier und der andere eher Hausmannskost-Anhänger ist. Für die beiden mache ich manchmal einfach zusätzlich etwas normale Pasta oder Kartoffeln als Beilage.Für mich funktioniert Dominiques Ernährungsweise bestens: kein Heißhunger mehr zwischen den Mahlzeiten, mehr Energie, bessere Verdauung.Wichtig: das Buch ist auf Englisch. Man sollte die Sprache beherrschen, sonst wird's schwierig...
