Absolutely brilliant value! I managed to get this on offer for around £34 and honestly think it's a bargain at that price. It was really easy to put together and I managed it on my own without any problems. It's surprisingly sturdy and there's plenty of room for 2–3 adults. I've had it outside for around 6 weeks now and it's already been through plenty of different weather conditions with absolutely no signs of wear or damage. It looks really stylish and much more expensive than it actually is. I'm using mine in the garden and it looks lovely while also being really practical. For the price I paid, I'm seriously impressed. Great size, easy to assemble, sturdy enough and looks fantastic. Would definitely recommend if you can get it at a good price!

This arrived promptly and I set about putting it together. I had my Philips screwdriver ready but, please note, it also requires a small spanner to tighten the nuts. Luckily I had one that had come with another flat pack product but it would be good if they included one with the bench. The first thing I noticed was that the wooden slats are not a uniform colour and appear to have an extremely thin varnish randomly added - some areas covered, others not. I also noticed that one of the two chamfered slats (for the top and front) had a split all the way down it. I've filled this with wood glue and hope that will be enough to stop it from breaking. There was also a quite long scratch down one of the metal ends and then, annoyingly, even though I was being very careful, the same end got scratched even more during my putting it together....the surface of the metal is evidently very easily scratched. The hardest part of assembly is fitting the metal strengthening bar as it has to be bent into shape as you attach it and there are no pilot holes for the wood screws so you will also need a bradawl to start them off. It might be a difficult assembly for some people. The bench does look good and I will be giving it a light sand, three coats of yacht varnish and touching up the scratches to make it more weatherproof. So, all in all, an okay bench though I think it's very overpriced. In response to others who said that the wood started to go mouldy after being out for a month or so....it does need to be varnished as it's not made from hardwood.

Brillant item, easy to put together and looks lovely

Easy to assemble (put together by me a my 4 yr old granddaughter). Robust and looks lovely. Very pleased.

The bench is not as strong as it looks, it tends to flex a lot in the middle, and I am concerned about its longevity.

Its not bad. Especially for the price, which is ideal for me. Its very lightweight and probably not recommended for very heavy people as you can feel the seat lats are a bit flimsy. Im 12st so its ok for my weight. So i give it 4 stars. Still, its a good price and would make a good buy for a simple but nice garden bench.

I was apprehensive after reading some negative comments but I found the bench easy to put together. You do need a spanner which could have been supplied with the screws but other than that I put it together by myself and it’s a nice looking bench

Très joli banc acheté pour mettre des pots de fleurs en décoration devant la maison. Il a un rendu assez chic et depuis les quelques mois qu'il est dehors, il ne s'est pas abimé et n'a pas rouillé. Très contente de mon achat.
