This remedy is awesome, liquid and the capsule form work every time. I use this as a tea. It's delicious and has helped my husband with some digestive issues. The capsule form is super great if you are dealing with gallbladder or kidney stones.

My boy got a bladder stone which completely plugged him up. It was on a Friday so I had no choice, but to have the vet clear it out. I refused to do an unnecessary surgery on my boy so the vet inserted a catheter and flushed it back up into his bladder as a temporary measure until I could get this delivered. Of course I had to listen to a lecture about how much my dog was worth and if I REALLY wanted to rely on something that wasn't FDA approved. I chuckled and said you still don't know me very well if you think I'll ever opt for surgery over a Holistic remedy. He always forgets all the times he's told me a dog needed surgery for this or that and every time I heal them 10 times better and faster than any surgery he could ever do. Only thing I ever use a vet for is Csections. Anyway, first I ordered a couple other brands, the first one ended up taking three days to come instead of two so I ordered another one and both were SO horrible tasting my dog would run when he saw me coming with it. Then he would foam and drool at the mouth and try to spit it out and was just miserable it was so horrible tasting. I saw in a review when looking for an alternative that this one wasn't nearly as bad tasting as some others so sent off for it right away. He still runs, lol, but it isn't nearly the ordeal and he doesn't have drool stringing from his mouth from trying to get rid of it after wards. .02 cc and a treat and he is good to go, no problem. It's been a week now and he's peeing just fine! YAY! I'll continue dosing multiple times a day for a couple more weeks and then back off to just once a day for maintenance to make sure they never come back along with other supplements to prevent them like Choline and B Complex.

Great product. I take it regularly for supporting my kidneys and dealing with oxalate issues. Higher quality than some of the other brands.

Acceptable taste, and appears to work (with kidney stones, you can't say anything over the short term). I will say this: I've been using Chanca Pietra for several years and it has been effective. I like this formulation a lot because it has no alcohol, doesn't taste bad (while not a great taste, it is mostly neutral and easy to get down), and the consistency of the suspension when shaken makes for predictable dosage. If you have had to deal with kidney stones, I highly recommend trying this. Drink a LOT of water, take this twice a day (30 drops each time), take well before eating or well after eating, not with food, as it reduces the effectiveness according to the seller). Since using this herbal remedy I have not passed or felt a kidney stone in over 3 years, thank God! It is worth a try. Just remember to drink as much water as you can stand and take this twice per day, it will give you the best chance you have to avoid the unplesaant experience of kidney stones. My doctor has been impressed enough to tell me to keep taking it. He, of course could not endorse a product like this, but when I suggested not taking it any more, he did not react well. That isn't an endorsement, to be sure, but it means something, given he doesn't sell the stuff <vbg>>

Amazing value, great brand, quality sourced. I love this size since I go through this quickly, using it every day. I seem sensitive to oxalates So in addition to Mg & K citrate, I’ve been taking this in the hopes that its offsetting the oxalate buildup. I discovered my oxalate sensitivity after bingeing on cashews for 3 weeks straight, and my joints were like that of an arthritic cripple. Somehow, I stumbled onto Sally K Norton, the oxalate expert, which described all of my symptoms. So, along with this stuff, I try to minimize my oxalate exposure…no more nuts, seeds, sweet potatoes, spinach, chia seed, raspberries, nut butters—all super high in oxalates…ya know, all the “healthy,” “superfoods” (& keto-focused foods). Makes ya wonder. I’m leaning towards carnivore and cow farts after becoming a recovering organic cold pressed juicer… Quite frankly, it’s hard to know what is right these days, but the body never lies. We just need to learn to listen when it’s a whisper, before it becomes a chronic scream…don’t let those aches fester! My mom did and wound up with a 14cm kidney stone! Oh, I recently heard hydrangea is excellent for kidney stones. Old Chinese remedy. I found it in another product that’s capsule-form with chanca piedra & dandelion. But on its own in a Chinese medicine tincture or capsule is probably most effective. Hope you get relief! & stay hydrated! =)

This review only relates to bladder stones which I have had for months. I took this liquid extract as instructed every day for almost a month. Prior to this I had been taking another Chanca Piedra produced by Herb Pharm for more than two months. Neither of these products resulted in any reduction of my bladder stones over the course of more than three months. During that time I had a CT Scan, x-ray, and most recently a Cystoscopy which showed I still had the same bladder stones as was seen in the other procedures. These products may be more effective for kidney stones than for bladder stones, as I can only speak about my experience with bladder stones.

My neuromuscular therapist recommended this after a scan. Never had any stone problems but it seems to have greatly reduced the urge to get up at night to urinate.
