The color is slightly lighter than expected but nice
I wanted to get organized for the new year and get my papers out of the pocket files. It's too much of a hassle to open it and stuff things in, when there isn't much room to begin with. Some of my papers build up over the year and I have to hang onto tax stuff...so I needed a bit more room. These do expand a bit, so I can widen the bottoms if I need to hold a lot of stuff. I have those milk crates with the ridges for these kinds of files with the metal wings. They're more portable and versatile than a heavy filing cabinet. Since the file folders will be visible through the crates, I wanted some pizzazz. Nothing against Pendaflex's typical army green or the 'jewel tones' but these are girlier and that's how I'm feeling. Pretty happy to have pink. Maybe it will make the filing more enjoyable?

Good quality recycled folders
Whether you have constan uset or the files sit for long periods, will determine which Pendaflex folders will have more value for you. The quality is very good in both, but these are a good value if your files aren't pawed through constantly. But for recycled folders, these are excellent quality.

Basic hanging folders!
I like these because I like to use colored file folders and seeing the colors of the tabs of the file folders helps me to easily find the right folder. These are a nice light neutral color making it easier to see those tabs. (Why are so many hanging file folders an ugly green?!?)

Lower quality than real Pendaflex, but okay.
These were not Pendaflex, but another brand. Not as well made, not reinforced, but were much cheaper and okay for my needs. If your files are heavy and full I’d get the better and more expensive ones.
