Holds an asp baton perfectly. Twist and pull straight up and out; whip up or down to extend; defend; light pressure of the end cap will holster the asp fully extended if your on the run. To redeploy, twist and pull straight up till the handle clears, then pull handle away from body leveraging tip on leg to "sidebreak" extension rod from holster. Very efficient and thoughtful design. I have not had it fall out running yet, but haven't done much. Only rotates 180 degrees (horizontal, tip down, horizontal). The belt loop itself is a clip model that hinges open so you don't have to feed it through your entire belt-it has an adjustor inside-four different belt diameters. All in all, a great product.

Works great. I used to have a leather scabbard which came with my baton. It would catch at times slowing down removal. This plastic scabbard enables you to take your baton out quickly. I usually click it forward then remove the baton in one smooth quick motion. Also its great after use you can just put the baton back in the holster without having to collapse it, just in case you are not quite done with it. The scabbard has a slit down its length and a hole in the bottom to allow same.

Durable works well, fits good

Directly from ASP, quality is great, as to be expected from a company like ASP. Make sure you get the correct baton for this scabbard or it may not perform as expected.

Good fit and functionality

Unless your department dictates that you wear another type of baton holster, this is the best holster for pretty much any collapsible baton. As a baton instructor and 22 year vet, this is the one I have used my whole career.

It get a little difficult to pull your baton out depending on the texture you have on it I have simple baton 26 when I first got it, it was a bit difficult to pull it out almost felt that if I could be in a situation my baton would be useless but once I move some of the screws lose it kinda Re leases out more easier now but if someone was really trying to get it from you it be as difficult for them as I’ll be for you lol

Works great and I love it, but when I first got it the retention metal band was too loose. I took it out to bend it slightly in order to increase the level of friction and retention, but it was incredibly weak. It snapped right in half. I was able to return it easily and got a replacement quickly. I was MUCH more careful adjusting it the second time and it works great now.

This product is great, I love the new duty-belt clip design vs. the old ASP version. I find that after only a few months the swivel lock is loosening up a bit, but I move it around a lot while working so that is most likely the reason why. The product comes with an allen key in the back of the swivel clip that allows you to disassemble and make adjustments - I did this when I got it so that I could tighten the retention clip. Overall great product, it looks great and functions well.

This is a good holster for your asp baton. Everything about this is great and my co workers use the same ones. However, I found that my baton doesnt fit nice and snug enough in the holster. Sometimes my baton will fall out of the holster when jogging. I have never has this problem before with similar holsters maybe mine is just defective. Still, the holster is still very useful with that swivel.

Arrived a day late, but with COVID-19 that’s to be expected, product is exactly as shown and in great condition.
