I was worried about whether or not this would fix my problem - unable to charge my battery. I replaced both the internal and the external and both were recognized by the laptop and started charging immediately. My T480 is fully functional again. I'll post this review again on the internal battery.

Battery arrived on time, very easily installed and work great.

Works great. PC is better than ever. Like new. Speakers even work better. I bought this computer for my father, but the battery went and then he did too. At least this can go on trips with my family.

Perfect fit,little higher than original, but works as a stand,holds charge well

It’s great quality, it’s slides right into my Think pad T-480. It has 100% battery health and extended my battery life by drastic amount. It is cosmetically perfect, I don’t see any wear or tear on it, and it doesn’t overheat or cause heat issues at all.

Unfortunately, after installing this battery, my son’s gaming laptop became completely unresponsive and would no longer power on, even after reinstalling the original battery. The laptop was taken for diagnostic testing, and the technician found a short circuit in the area of the battery connector and the power/charging circuitry on the motherboard. As a result, the laptop is now considered beyond economical repair. I cannot say with certainty whether the battery itself caused the problem or whether another issue occurred during the replacement process. However, the laptop was functioning normally before the battery replacement, and the failure happened immediately afterward. I was present during the installation and did not observe any obvious mishandling, bending of components, or use of metal tools that would have suggested accidental damage. This has been a very disappointing and costly experience, as the laptop was worth approximately $1,200. I am sharing my experience so that other buyers are aware of what occurred in our case and can make their own informed decision before purchasing. A return was requested, and I received a notice of full refund, which I appreciate. However, that does not bring the laptop back to life. Please be mindful before deciding to replace your laptop battery yourself, even if you have watched tutorials and feel confident with the process. While many replacements are successful, there is always a risk that something may go wrong, whether due to the replacement part itself or another issue that arises during the installation process. In our case, what was intended to be a simple battery replacement ended with the loss of a gaming laptop worth approximately $1,200. I hope sharing this experience helps others make an informed decision before proceeding with a battery replacement.

The people who have been reviewing this item give it one star I just can’t believe. I followed exactly what the directions were. It came at 76% Said let it drain down to 2% and then charge it. I did that it is now been four days since I’ve had this and nothing that any of these people say has happened. The battery is sticking to it very strong. Not loose with people saying connection is not made. and there’s no wiggle room like people say. It lasted for more than two or three days like people said it wouldn’t. It is working fine. I don’t know what in the heck people are talking about. It fits my HP pavilion. And by the way as soon as I installed battery every problem that I had with my keyboard not working and the Caplock button being stuck in certain keys not being able to work all went away. It is worth the $20 you pay without a doubt it is worth that. It comes extremely fast it comes packaged beautifully. It actually has two packaging inside of the box on top of all of the airbags that are inside of it. I don’t know what the people are talking about this battery is perfect. I was very hesitant because I go with reviews as well. But they are wrong. Follow the directions let it run down to 2% or to 5% and then plug it in and charge it to hundred percent don’t leave it plugged in. That does not work. That’s how I burn my other battery down. When I checked how many hours I actually use this computer for it was laughable and that HP battery that came with the computer was done. This battery holds a charge and it is done wonders for a laptop that I thought I was gonna have to throw away. And this laptop is in immaculate condition used for maybe less than 100 hours combined over the past two years that I’ve had. Laptops are throwaways people say. You only have them for a few years. If you take care of it you can have it for a long time. I had a first HP pavilion with a good amount of ram and it works beautifully with this battery and the charge holds. Don’t be foolish and go to HP or go to some battery place and pay 40 $60 for a battery. 20 bucks you could buy two of them and be fine with it. I bought one I may even buy another one. As I said before the company ships extremely fast it is packaged beautifully and I have had not one problem with it knock on wood so far. And the reason I waited 4 an a half to five days to put this review up was because I wanted to disapprove all of the stuff that people said about the one star reviews on how long it lasts it broke after two days it doesn’t keep a charge. That is wrong. But you wanna know what. People are always going to complain no matter what. And I think it’s wrong that the highlighted reviews are the one star ones because that’s wrong

Fast delivery. Battery is brand new, zero charging cycles. Around 74Wh advertised instead of 72Wh. Lighter than expected. Very happy with the product; well worth the money. The laptop turns from an outlet or power bank-dependent device into an actually portable one. I will update my comment when the battery reaches end of life, to see how many cycles it lasted.
