Lavazza Italian Espresso Crema Gusto Ground Coffee, 8.8 oz

My most favorite coffee. Seriously it's bold but mellow and never acidic. Fantastic. I put a few spoons in a 1-serving french press and add hot water.

I'm from Italy and a coffee snot. You can always tell what I think of your coffee by how white it is. This is perfect for me. I can happily drink it black. Yes, no sugar, no flavors, no milk. It doesn't taste burnt, or acidy, or bitter. it's smooth and comforting. Rich and relaxing.

Received my brick with the vacuum intact and well within expiration. I didn’t waste any time brewing up a big-ole Moka pot with it. Happy to report that for a pre-ground coffee, it made a solid cup. Coffee tasted fresh and robust with just a slight bite on the back of the pallet. Didn’t play so well with my La Pavoni Europicolla espresso machine but in truth, I didn’t really buy it for that. The package also indicates that it’s suitable for French Press but it seems far too finely ground for that. Personally, I’d limit its use to just your everyday Moka pot. If you’re looking for a super inexpensive yet full-bodied Italian coffee for daily use, this is it. Enjoy!

Oh man! So, we just got a French press after only using a nespresso machine, and outside of putting in a pod and hitting a button, I don’t know how to make coffee. Even with all that going for me, this stuff is delicious!! I feel like the coffee from nespresso and even in keurig is somewhat acidic, but this coffee is extremely smooth and easy to drink. I’m going to go make some more

Ever since buying a Bialetti Moka Express, I have been looking for a good espresso type coffee - and the Lavazza Crema Gusto is now my "go-to" coffee of choice. It is a rich, creamy, espresso coffee that seems to be the perfect choice for using in a Moka Express. I like strong coffee and I just add some half &half and sugar, but some people may wish to add hot water as well, to make an Americano... This is the real deal, genuine Italian dark roast coffee, evenly ground and well packed. I am glad that I can buy it through Amazon since it can be difficult to find elsewhere!

I generally like Lavazza Coffee, but found this to be slightly strange tasting. Not sure whether I just got a bad batch, or whether this particular roast and grind is ill-suited to my preparation methods. But the coffee had a bitter, rather weak taste to it. Won't be purchasing again, although I will try other Lavazza coffees.

We live in Seattle so have a lot of opportunity to be fussy about coffee. This is some of the best, and now we just order this rather than drive all over looking for something that might be a teeny tiny bit better. No need -- this stuff is great.

I love this coffee; great in a moka, or pour over. It doesn’t work well in a French press though.

Realmente sabe muy rico el café y huele delicioso. Lo uso con la cafetera moka y tambien tengo una cafetera pequeña de expresso y al salir el cafe va formando una espuma de cafe muy intensa y rica. (no me pasa con otros cafes). El producto todo bien y perfecto. El problema es que no hay distribuidor oficial y el precio varia muchisimo a veces esta "barato" y a veces caro.

Be careful before you buy... I order this with the title, (Crema Gusto Ground B Coffee (Pack of 20) ) only got 1 tiny package of coffee.... there is no pack of 20. This is not a deal. do not buy.
