It checks out.
Bought this to go with my dive watch. I've read on a couple of posts here that it didn't work at all, right out of the package. So, when I received it a couple of hours ago, I immediately put it in the fridge for an hour, then the freezer for an hour. It worked. It wasn't digital accurate but close enough to 42F and 3F for my satisfaction. It will pick up your body heat. For me, this isn't much of a problem as it'll be outside of a wetsuit or mounted on my console. The only drawback is that the face isn't recessed and will undoubtedly become scratched or damaged with use.

Itโs a dud.
The temperature displayed shows 60F outside when the temperature is actually 46F. Inside home it shows 90F when the actual temperature is 69F. This product is not accurate.

Great on the go Thermometer with one noteworthy flaw.
It is a great on the go thermometer that is easy to read and, relatively, accurate. As others have noted, it does pick up body heat on watch band. Not a big surprise considering what it is. Off watch band, it has similar accuracy as the general use thermometers I picked up from my local hardware store. I took off a star because the degree markers don't have luminescence (glow in the dark) so night time use is questionable.

Poor quality. Very small. BROKEN but NO RETURN allowed (I wonder why?)
Good customer service

Nice but....
Great concept that fails in execution. This item is well made. It functions very well... so long as you don't actually wear it on your watch strap. Doing so causes the thermometer to record your body heat, not ambient temperature. Needs a case that doesn't transfer heat but lets the gauge work off of the air. Will now secure it to a zipper pull instead which isn't what I bought it for. UPDATE: Today (18Mar) I received an unsolicited offer to refund the purchase of my thermometer. How absolutely cool is that? I turned it down because I found an alternative way to use it and it's working for me. But, just the idea that such an offer was made tells you a whole lot about the company. And it's good.

Wrist temperature gauge. Not accurate while on wrist. Almost 10 degrees off! Looks good on wrist.
Temperature at a glance. I have it on my NATO watchband. Perfect!

Doesn't work as intended
It doesn't appear to work. It said it was 80F in my 65 degree room and outside in 75F weather it reads 85F. I took it off my watch and put it under an ice pack for a few minutes. Apparently my ice pack freezes at 80F. I bought it because it claimed to be able to pick up the temperature in only a second but maybe they just used some misleading wording to mean you can read it in one second. Either way, it doesn't appear to work at all. I took it off my watch thinking the watch band was making it warmer. I'll see if it changes anything.
