So can I use this if I have a noisy diff but a non limited slip?

No, for a noisy diff I would look at a Lucas oil...after you have checked to make sure the noise isn't being caused by the bad news fairy. Take it to tech and have them check the gears. Or crack it open yourself and look for metal shavings.

IF your Town Car has a limited slip differential then this fluid is indeed the proper additive if you are going to be renewing the gear oil in your T C.

You could add it to the oil that's already in there but you may need to remove some oil to make room. BTW, Diff oil should be changed at 100K.
