IMG Stage Line MPX-44/SW 6 Channel Stereo DJ Mixer

I am a DJ who gigs at parties, weddings etc .... i,m not a club DJ. I have had a number of 19 inch rack mixers all budget driven and under the £200 mark........ If you dont want bells and whistles i tend to go for budget mixers as i have the speakers at a good investment. That said its important your mixer is built well and this IMG stageline ticks this box , its a german company ( monacor ) and the build feels solid and the actions of the eq settings are noticable when used. The beauty of this mixer is its volume points.......it has gain on each channel and the volume on each channel is excellent at 3/4 level setting ..... then you also have your master which can really crank up the SPL,s.. ! Make sure your speakers are a good wattage , mine are over 800 w. my systen can cater for rooms of up 300 people.... parties dont get much over this. So why use a sledge hammer to crack a walnut ...... This mixer is more than enough for my needs and has a purity of sound which you could pay 4 times as much ! A sound investment if you dont want an effects laden piece of kit. Make sure your cables are good ones ! makes a huge difference to sound quality.
