Pain to replace but fit perfect......
Being hard to replace is Ford's doing, not Dorman's. LOLOn our '19 Fiesta, this was the actuator under the dash on the driver's side (the hardest to replace on a Fiesta). The Dorman replacement felt "heavier" and more structurally sound, fit perfect and is working fantastic.Even came with the little tool to place the damper door in the correct position to make installing the new unit easier.

Fits well, seems sturdier than OEM, time will tell
I bought this Dorman actuator hoping it'll last longer than the OEM Ford part. Installed it on the driver-side of my 2014 Fiesta ST. I gained access to the actuator by removing the cover behind the steering wheel. It's 3 Torx screws and the bottom half of the plastic cover comes off. I was able to do the replacement without removing the driver seat or the knee airbag. The actuator itself was secured by 2 Torx screws. You'll need a small ratchet with Torx bit to work in the tight space inside the dash. You'll also most likely have to orient the notched gear to the same position as the actuator that was removed. There is an arrow on the actuator housing for reference. Reorienting the gear requires you to open up the actuator.Boo to Ford for making such an unreliable part. I will update if this Dorman fails.

Perfect fit for my 2017 Ford Fiesta SE
I did not want to take my broken blender door to the shop just to have them charge me 300 bucks. I spent the 25 bucks on this one and changed it myself, only took me 2 hours, and that's because I had to run to the store to get a tool I was missing. This works perfectly, no issues. Also, I learned how to change this part by watching a YouTube video. Super easy, the difficult part was just getting into a tight space.

Fiesta ST fix for DRIVER SIDE.
Long term review. So far I have 2 years and 18,000 miles of click free use. This is the one on the driver side and is a complete pain in the a$$ to get to. If you are a burley guy with fat fingers.. good luck. I feel like this Dorman is built a little stronger than the factory OEM unit (it weighs more). Ford had already replaced one under warranty. I went thru 2 of the Ford's OEM before 35,000 miles.

Prepare for a small battle to install
So this part failed on a 2017 Fiesta ST with right around 27k on it. When you read online and on youtube, they state replacement is around 30 minutes. It is, if you are the size of a small child and have the dexterity of a surgeon working blindly. Otherwise, buckle up and prepare to contort yourself accordingly. The part itself looks fine. Only time will tell if the gears decide to part with their teeth so I can't curse OEM versus aftermarket just yet. I will update as time goes on.Obviously removal is the opposite of replacement but the most persnickety thing is plugging the unit back in (I waited until it was mounted) because of the short run of wire. The other thing I would recommend is spinning the large white gear until the unit plunks into place. It is keyed to go into one direction and when the old unit failed, it stopped dead where it was and not on either stop. The system will find "home" when you plug it all in and test it. The part includes a bit for your 1/4" ratchet but once again, it's blind and there's not much room. I literally just moved the gear both directions until it hit the stops and then fine tuned once I was close and bolted the unit down.Recommended to purchase at the same time as this would be a t20 bit wrench and a t25 for the steering column hardware. The red spinner that amazon recommends would work as well but you are limited on space on the top screw. You will spend the most time cursing yourself and why this part broke in the first place dealing with this hardware. If you chose to replace this yourself, you will find out why the dealer or even an indy shop charges as much as they do to replace something that was once actuated by cables that never or rarely broke. I can't say if I have to go back in if I'll be any quicker but I will certainly know what I am up against. Now you do too.

As described
Great product for the price, the installation was a pain, however the product worked as described

It works on the Fiesta St
Like others have stated this one works. This worked on my drivers side - you separate the actuator and get it close to lined up as the bad actuator you pulled out and you should be good to go.

Worked
Installed perfectally, worked just the way it should. Fixed the annoying blend door clocking. Time will tell if it lasts as long as the original equipment.

Genérico como original
Si bien tiene ciertas diferencias físicas, reemplazó de forma adecuada al motor original el cuál al tener un dirnte de engrane roto (tema muy común en este modelo) generana un ruido fuerte en la zona de la guantera al encender el carro.

Fit like a glove
It was a tight fit to install, scartched my hand up pretty good but once it was installed it worked perfectly. I did have to play with the air setting to get the Noch to line up. It took me close to an hour to remove the old and install the new and I'm kind of handy, but I have giant hands and weak grip.Over all it will do the job
