Times Spectra Extreme Braid Braided Fishing Line 6-300LB Test 100m-2000m Army Green

I purchased this fishing line a while ago and have used it for months now. Initially I was impressed with the line, but when I used it for pike fishing in my local river, I noticed a problem...a BIG problem! this line tangles like there's no tomorrow; near enough every time I cast out there would be a knot or a tangle somewhere along the length of the line off the reel. It's rather annoying when you plan to be out for several hours and you spot that down the line, meaning you have to reel in your lure or float to sort it out. It isn't all bad though, for the line is very strong (though less than the rating on the spool) and after these few months of use the frequency of tangles has lessened, but overall I wouldn't recommend this fishing braid simply due to poor manufacture. I would however recommend one of the far better known and more reliable brands that manufacture braided line such as Spiderwire or Kastking.

When it comes to buying Braid it’s worth paying the extra. I have put the spool straight in the bin. Not only did it tangle, but it had weak spots that caused it to break when casting. Lost a few good spinners and a lot of fishing time.I recommend staying away from this product.

Reviewing 2000m/2187Yards 30lb/0.26mm which is what I ordered. This is great braid and way cheaper than other 'branded' braid I have purchased. It is nice and thin for the weight capacity and casts very well from my fixed spool Avocet bait-runners. I found this braid to have a slightly rougher feel than some other braids but this appears to work in favour of a very secure knot without impacting performance. Maybe it's my setup but I did not experience 'wind knots' or 'nesting' but I soak the line in water for several hours before spooling. There is no science behind this method I was shown this as a youngster and always spool up new line with wet mono/braid.

Amazing bite detection, you can feel the fish just sniffing the bait using this stuff. Make sure you have a strong dowel stick to wrap line around in case of a snag. You will mot pull for a break without damaging your rod or cutting your damn fingers off!

Great colour and cheap price....that’s the good bits. Now the bad... I thought I would test the strength by making a figure of eight knot leaving me a good loop to attach to a set of RH scales and the braid snapped away from the knot at around 10lb when it is rated as 20lb... I tried several times with similar results. Luckily I have purchased this for drop shot fishing for perch so it will do the job. You get what you pay for is the note to take.

Compared to the more expensive braids in your local tackle shops . This stuff is on par and for a fraction of the price . Only four stars as the colour is slightly off pictures and I would like to see a couple shades darker but irrelevant to the quality of this line. Wont be going back mono for a while .

Delivery and packaging cannot be faulted. I needed strong, flexible line that was stiff enough to push down the barrel of a 22 air rifle. Cleaning patches are then pulled through. This fits the criteria exactly, I could not ask for more for my requirements, but haven't a clue about its value for fishing!

Pendiente de probar la calidad del producto, pero acabo de cambiar el sedal viejo de 4 carretes y he puesto 120 +90+90 y en el último sólo he podido poner 60. Si no me fallan las matemáticas suma 360 metros y la bobina es de 500 metros, se han perdido 140 metros por el camino??

Lo sto usando su calate lunghe. Poca spesa tanta resa. Non mi convince il diametro dichiarato. Con la bobina da 2km pensavo di farci 3 mulinelli con circa 660 metri, in realtà potrei farne anche un quarto.Dopo qualche giorno di utilizzo a forza di recuperare calate e pesci la treccia s’è compressa parecchio e adesso credo che almeno 50 metri per mulo li avrei potuti aggiungere.Pesco con tendifilo e 30Metri di 0,70 alla fine quindi non ho ancoraBen capito quanto sia affondante ... ma di gente con la bass boat m’è già passata sopra senza prendermi dentro quindi in teoria ha un assetto neutro/affondante

ho acquistato questo filo perchè spinto dalla curiositàe devo dire che che ne sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito.il filo ne mulinello sta da dio,l'uscita in fase di lancio e buona (no da problemi di parrucche e cose così)io ho acquistato il 10 lb e non ho avuto nessuna difficolta a combattere dei pesci di 2/3/4 chili permettendomi il lusso di forzarli anche.acquisto consigliatissimo

Io ho comprato il 250lb, utilizzandolo come SHOCK LEADER per la pesca al siluro e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto... Il filo è di qualità pari a quelli di marca, ad un prezzo infinitamente più basso. Lo consiglio vivamente ad eventuali interessati!

a mio parere meglio spendere qualche euro in più per un prodotto superiore... c'è da dire a sua discolpa che il prezzo è veramente basso e non si può pretendere troppo dato quello he si è pagato il prodotto... ma in linea generale (io l'ho usato a spinning) i soldi che si risparmiano acquistando questo filo si spendono con gli interessi in artificiali persi anche in fase di lancio poichè il filo tende a spezzarsi con enorme facilità

se usato in bobina nel lancio tende a fare parrucche, raccoglie molta acqua che rilascia nel lancio, occhio hai passanti della canna se non specifici per trecciati li rovina, i carichi provati appendendo pesi rispettano i carichi rottura. in conclusione può andare bene per pesche dove non bisogna effettuare lanci tipo traina, bolentino, o per terminali in questo caso anche per surfcasing

Muy bueno, muy resistente de muy buena calidad y por un precio muy bueno..da gusto encontrar cosas de tan buena calidad y por ese precio. Yo he sacado un par de siluros uno de 47kg y otro de 64kg con este hilo que es solamente de 49kg. Suerte pescadores!!!

No soy experto en pesca, solo aficionado, lo he probado y va muy bien, lo utilizo para pesca de sepia o calamar. A mi me va mejor que el hilo de pesca clásico. Se acopla muy bien al carrete

je n ai pas mesurer s il y a vraiment 1000 metres mais il y a surement cette mesure !la couleur de l écran le rend un petit peu plus foncé et a l arrivée il est un petit peu plus clair .pour moi cela ne gene pas trop !resistance de 18 kgs cela tient tres bien et il est tres souple a posé sur un moulinet !pour le couper il faut un bon coupe ongles ou cutter !a voir en peche :P.S :je reviendrais dire comment il se comporte en peche sur mon moulinet en 7000 !me re voila pour finir ce commentaire et voila : pour la force : je l ai tester sur mon doigt en forçant au maximum en jetant un leurre de 40g sur mon moulinet 7000 et il tient sans cassé , mon doigt a rougie un peu !pour la force : je peu vous dire qu il ne casse pas facilement si vous accrochez sur des rochers en bordure !voila maintenant vous savez tres bien que cette tresse de 32centiemes et bonne pour pecher un peu a tout !bonne peche a vous moi je vais continuer !

Buona lenza ad un prezzo accessibile! Acquistata per traina d'altura si è rivelata un'ottima alleata per la pesca . Non è certamente paragonabile ad altri prodotti più di marca ma svolge comunque in maniera molto buona il suo ruolo.

Angegeben ist die Tragkraft dieser Angelschnur mit 300lb, das entspricht 136,078 Kg. Ich habe versucht mich an dieser Angelschnur im Sitzen ganz langsam, ohne Ruck hochzuziehen. Ich schaffte es nicht einmal irgendetwas hochzuziehen. Die Angelschnur ist gerissen. Und wenn mich eines wirklich ärgerlich macht, dann sind das erfundene Produktdetails. Ich werde hier nie wieder etwas kaufen.

Ottimo prodotto, ci ho pescato 7 volte prima di scrivere una recensione e non assorbe aqua , non mi si e mai rotto nonnostante io sia imbranato coi lanci e mi e capitato di impigliarlo negli alberi lungo il fiume ,lo consiglio

Sembra buono. Non so ancora quanto effettivamente tenga con un pesce attaccato. Non ancora provata ma per ora ho riempito 2 mulinelli 6000 con del 26 con la bobina da 300 mt rimanendomene qualche metro...quindi bene.

di sicuro non è paragonabile al powerpro, ma costa anche 4 volte di meno, se dura anche solo una stagione senza problemi, diciamo che va bene, spray al silicone ogni due uscite e va benissimo, niente parrucche
