Acer KG241Qbmiix 24 Inch Full HD Gaming Monitor, Black (TN Panel, FreeSync, 1 ms, HDMI, VGA)

Not the best monitor you'll ever own, but absolutely fine at its price point. I use this as part of a dual monitor setup, mainly for web development, design, and photo editing. I am a regular PC gamer when life permits, but have not played any games on this yet.The range of contrast is not great, and I struggled to get blacks to really pop, despite tinkering with the settings for some time. However, this is marketed as a gaming monitor, and as such comes with an adjustable "Black Boost" setting which is actually designed to lighten up in-game shadows and dark corners for better visibility. Even with Black Boost set to zero, I couldn't really get any true blacks though. It's certainly not as good as my 10-year-old BenQ ET-0026-N G2222HDL, which was a best in class monitor at the same price back in the day.This Acer monitor has a very slightly warm colour tinge to it, which is actually fine - preferable, even, if you want a less harsh light for your eyes - unless you are performing colour sensitive work such as design or photo editing. Mine actually arrived with the colour settings on a "Warm" profile, but even with this set to "Normal" it's slightly warm.Other features include cheap in-built speakers, which you probably won't want to use (buy a pair of external speakers instead, and disable the monitor speakers in Windows or your OS of choice), and an "Aim" setting for FPS gaming. This gives you the option to overlay one of three white reticles on the screen. I have not use this, and although it sounds like a cool idea on paper I can't imagine it's actually that useful. In the old days, FPS games had guns which basically shot straight to the centre of the screen. People would sometimes add a small dot on their screen with a whiteboard marker, to allow them to "run and gun" while still having an exact point of reference like a red dot sight. The monitor's Aim setting is kind of like that. These days, however, games like Call of Duty and Battlefield include ultra-realistic gun physics like sway, recoil, and bullet drop. I'm just not sure you'd actually want a big, clunky reticle in the way, which doesn't actually show you where your bullets will land.

The monitors are okay but theres a few problems.1 - bezels! they are HUGE. Way thicker than the pictures do them justice for.2 - The mount that comes with this is horrendous! I mean its flimsy, its loose and overal a terrible design. I've had to mount my monitors on a bracket to have them steady and secure.3 - picture is okay, nothing to sing home about.Personally there's better monitors on the market for the same money.

Good for gaming at a entry level price but don't use the overdrive mode on extreme, it becomes distorted and has an extreme ghost effect, overdrive extreme can be good if ur just looking for minimal input delay

Currently running X2 of these in a triple monitor setup, it's amazing picture quality with 75hz rate. The cables come all with it as well as really well packaged for safety. I recommed getting this monitor due to its cheap price, high quality and its use ability, this can be set up horizontally as well.

The pictures quality and the stand is not that amazing but good enough for the price
