Delicious!! Had it for the first time in Costa Rica and fell in love! My dad is a fellow hot sauce lover, (probably where I get it from 😂) It’s VERY hot for anyone wondering. 10/10 spice level, but great flavor! Definitely eat at your own risk. But if you’re adventurous with spice like I am, you’ll love it!

I have dozens of hot sauces and have made several of my own. This is a Scotch Bonnet and Ghost Pepper sauce with some serious heat. The peppers used in Monoloco’ smash are of the highest quality and are delicious, at least in the bottle I received. This is on my top shelf and I highly recommend it. I’ve used it on wings, in chili and on tacos and burritos. It doesn’t disappoint. The Scotch Bonnet flavor is the most prominent with the ghost pepper providing extra heat. This is as hot as any of the Carolina Reaper sauces I have. It’s not as hot as some of the extract sauces, but it tastes much better than they do.

I would like to begin with when I went to Costa Rica and had Mono Loco salsa it was amazing! Whatever they sent me in the mail is disgusting. I tried it multiple times and it is not like what I brought home from Costa Rica. It tastes horrible. Also salsa is suppose to last at least a year(my first one did) but what ever they sent me looked awful after a month. Do not buy not the real stuff!!! I also tried to reach out and rerun this product and it is not returnable. Buyer beware!

One of the most potent hot sauces I have tasted. Excellent quality though slightly expensive!!!!

I rate this at 4 stars only because of the price here. This an extremely hot and very good sauce. When we vacationed in Costa Rica a few years back, we picked up a bottle of this Chile Monoloco hot sauce. When we returned home and tried it, I instantly regretted not buying more, especially when I realized it was not easily available in the US. It is, as others have said, VERY hot. But, unlike many of the hotter hot sauces, this one has a distinct, recognizable flavor. While it was about $6 a bottle n Costa Rica, I am happy to see it available here. Obviously, for over $20 a bottle, it is not a bargain, but it is a great sauce try try. Consider it the hot sauce version of trying fine wines. While it might not be in your regular rotation of hot sauces at this proce, it is worthy of splurging for the very good stuff every so often.

Delicious! Just the right amount of spiciness. It took while to deliver but I live halfway across the world so it's okay. 5 stars for sure
