This has been a miracle for me
I have been suffering with ITBS at the top of the femur for almost a year. Nothing has helped, until this little miracle came up on my search. Almost every IT band out there is for placement just above the knee. Yea his one included, but I bought the larger size and placed it up high on my thigh and it has reduced the amount of pain from the first time I put it on. I only purchased one for the worst hip to see if it would work and I will be purchasing another one today for the other hip.

IT band support
Works well as helped with pain from IT band issues, wore above and below knee (below seemed to help more). starting to wear out after repeated use but for the cost was well worth it, the gel pad does not stay open place, needs a pocket to hold in place.

Night and Day difference
I suffer from an IT band issue in my left leg caused by bowling. I haven't been on a regular bowling league in over 14 years and I've been wanting to join one again. My sister offered for me to join here league and so I have been practicing by bowling at least 3 games a week. Before getting this strap, I would bowl about half a game to a full game before I was in excruciating pain. I had issues with this when I was younger, but being older and having additional weight it made my games terrible. Previously I had a 180+ average, but before getting this band I could barely maintain a 120 average in any of my bowling sessions. I used this band last weekend and it has blown my mind. I don't understand how a 2-inch wide piece of cloth can alleviate so much pain, but I bowled 4 games averaging 160 (and considering I have been out of the game for 14 years, I didn't think that was too bad). I felt better after bowling 4 games than I have bowling two games and taking 3 Ibuprofen prior to bowling. If you suffer from IT band issues or related injuries I highly recommend this strap. Also, as some of the other reviews point out, it does tend to slide off location from time to time, so be sure to tighten it as much as comfortably possible and check in on it from time to time.

Doesnt stay put...waste of money
Update: Does not stay on and falls to my ankle. If you dont have to move it helps but wont be helpful while walking let aline running. After a half marathon I felt discomfort in the outside of my left knee in the back. Had no idea what it was but was hard to walk. Did research and found out it may be my ITBS band so thought I’d try this. After putting it on the discomfort immediately went away and I have no issues walking and am very positive about being able to get back to my exercise routine. I’m so thrilled and the price was great. At local stores anything similar and not quite right was double the price. It’s easy to use and comfortable. I’m very happy with my purchase!!

Simple and effective
This simple device is wonderful for relieving knee pain from ITB...I have tried several of these by different manufacturers and this one is the most comfortable and effective.....I wear mine all day, every day and forget it's even there...but if I forget to put it on my knee starts hurting
