Biostatistical Analysis 5th By Jerrold H. Zar (International Economy Edition)

The book was brand new as described and delivered on time. It's well worth its price for the ones who have genuine interest in studying biostatistics. If you buy this for a class, keep in mind that this book does not come with any standard tables and you will need to obtain them from other sources.

This book is worth it for sure, the only thing is that it does not have the tables for t tests and p values, but those are easy enough to find online.

This book is priced so much better than it's hardcover US equivalent.. and so far is on par with content and assignment questions at the end of each chapter. The only downside is that the additional charts and tables (such as looking up z-scores!) aren't in this book, which is a little obnoxious.

What a waste of money. This stupid thing doesn't have the necessary tables to answer the exercises. I ended up buying a used fourth edition instead and that has everything I need plus it was in great condition. I personally wouldn't bother with this "international edition".

Students and amateur statisticians beware. This book lacks the tables used in its statistical tests. To compound the usability issues with the book, it doesn't reference the types of tables you'll need in the text of each chapter. It references the appendix location of the table from the version of the book that does have the tables. This can make it difficult to get the information you need. It's a case of not knowing what you don't know. You'll want to supplement many of the types of tests and estimations you would make while designing an experiment with outside materials or programs, like g*power.

The best book for Ecological Statistics

I am using this book to self-teach biostats. This is a great book for those who have a general understanding of statistical techniques , and want to learn 'what goes on behind the scenes' when using SPSS

Didn'y have any of the necessary statistical tables to ACTUALLY perform stats calculations. Chi square tables, F-tables, etc.....ALL MISSING
