Resident Evil Requiem Amazon Exclusive Edition - PlayStation 5

Just got done with re9 and it was pretty good, The game starts off as grace who lost her adoptive mother 8 years ago at Wrenwood hotel, she was given a task to investigate the hotel but wasn’t sure if she wanted to go back and face the past after the tragic events, She decides to take task and faces the past, when arriving at the hotel she found some pictures of her and adoptive mother inside the hotel and the flashbacks came back to her, it shows grace and Alyssa in the hotel room having a conversation and then the power cuts off, suddenly Alyssa starts sensing something is off, she immediately leaves with grace to leave and then the manager of the hotel shows up and talks about how old the hotel is etc and then this creepy hooded guy slaughters him but was taken down by Alyssa gun, immediately after they take off into another room and as they were about to enter another room grace went in front of her and then seconds later Alyssa was also slaughtered by the hooded guy who was shot at multiple times but still managed to catch up and eliminate her leaving grace in shock with Alyssa on the ground, after reflecting on what happened to her mother, she encounters a police officer who she recently just met and then turns into this zombie, grace luckily survives the encounter but then she hears noises coming from upstairs and she spots a person in a lab coat very huge and tall and person but she was already suspicious who this person was but then the doors gets locked, tries to run away but then got put into rest, the suspicion person talks about how we have a lot to and cuts from there. This was definitely a way to start the beginning of the game, having to face the fears with grace and seeing her face the past, the game also has another character but your gonna have to see for yourself without any spoilers. 9/10

The game is great! The graphics, the story play and the sound effects. The jump scares LOL ! I love this game

Sometimes you just want to run and hide and seek with ugly monsters as Ashley and sometimes you want to go full John Wick on the zombies as Leon, but either way you’re having a good time. It is your standard RE formula mixed in with 2 protagonist to give you different play styles. I am also slow video game finisher so it took me like 14 hours, you pro gamers can probably do it in like 9-10 hours or less what with your speed running hacks. For me, it was a one and done type game where I run through the story and beat it and then I turn around and sell the game, but others may opt for the replay value or increased difficulty settings. For me, I was good and satisfied with one play through.

Excellent RE game. Grace sections feel like a true form to survival horror and some of the best in the franchise.. Leon sections are crazy and satisfying to get through as there more focused on the action.. highly recommended 9/10

A new nightmare begins!!! The classic RE which itself has become a household name, has taken us fans back to where the nightmare originally began. The fact about 60% of the game takes place in the devastated and ravaged site where the T-virus & G-virus outbreaks took place which resulted in the "military' authorizing a missile strike on the area and any surrounding environment, rendering it uninhabitable and nuked to hell and back. So, the fact we are returning makes you immediately aware that even though these events definitely took place, some organization clearly resumed research in a very suspicious facility deep underground. And, what's more, Grace Ashcroft (who you first play as in the beginning) may seem like a character unrelated to past events, but as Capcom has surely shown us many times in the past, they are storytellers before they are anything and they weave the plot together like a spider threading his web. This game not only touches on a lot of nostalgic notes but at the same time moves the series forward past the Ethan arc, and I love it and love this style of RE more than say, RE4 Remake. Great job yet again, Capcom on the greatest series in survival horror hands down!!!

Great game but the case came in a bit crack and it should be packaged a little better. Shipping 4/5 stars.

Resident Evil 9 Comes with a double sided mini poster. This is an interesting Resident Evil game as you can choose to play in first person or third person. I wasn't a fan of RE 7 & 8 because it's difficult for me to play first person games without feeling dizzy after a while. I much prefer the original styles and games like the remakes of 2 , 3 and 4. What I noticed playing RE9 is that it changes its style depending on who your playing. So it is more old style with figuring out puzzles and more horror oriented but then it gets into more action/shooting at other times. It's been fun to play. Challenging at times and scary at times as well , it has a good mix of everything. Resident Evil fans are definitely gonna like the game but even if you've never played a RE game you're still going to enjoy it.

Got poster but no steelbook or DLC, very disappointing considering that is what was advertised with this purchase.
