Rockwell CimeXa Insecticide Dust (2) 4 oz. Bottles

The youtube reviews and praises of the bedbug subreddit live up to the real product. I was a bit skeptical at how well people said this works, but after doing alot of research, I decided to go ahead and purchase. I didnt have a bad bedbug infestation by any means. But I had a few, a couple months ago, had it treated. A few months went by and they resurfaced and started getting weekly bites again. The DE powder was futile and wasn't helping at all and I didnt want the exterminator to come back again, so after doing a bunch of research on this product, I decided to order. I also bought a powder duster to disperse it and it took some getting used to but after a while I got the hang of it. Once the dust settled, I hoped for the best. It's been two weeks and i haven't got a single bite. It seems to be working. However many bedbugs i had, they arent here anymore. Just make sure you use gloves and a mask when applying and make sure to do research on how much to apply, where to apply, and how to apply. It will help you be successful. All in all, this Cimex is the true Silver Bullet when it comes to bed bugs. If you have an infestation or you saw a few bedbugs/are getting bit weekly, please buy this and apply before calling an exterminator. This will do the job. It really is amazing. It also doesn't use chemicals, nor is it something bedbugs can be immune to. Its silica gel that dissolves their cuticle so they cant send out a warning to other bedbugs and let them know there is a pesticide, because it really isnt one. Just get it. Seriously. It's safefor kids and animals as long as it's used correctly.

Finally, a product that kills bed bugs! I have been battling this problem for months now and I used several different products with no results. I would get one night off with no bed bugs and then bam - there they were again. But with CimeXa they are dead, dead, dead! It did take about a month for them to all be gone, but once the bed bugs walked in the CimeXa, they were dead in a day or two. I have a wooden bed frame that my son built, so the bed is higher and the bed bugs made nests underneath in the two by four joists. I got under the bed and "puffed" (I bought a puffer) the dust in between the joists and the plywood top. I don't have a box spring, just a mattress sitting on a piece of plywood. I also lifted the mattress up at the corners as high as I could and "puffed" dust onto the plywood. I already had a mattress cover for bed bugs on the mattress, so that was covered. Since it took a while for the bed bugs to die - I also took a paint brush and "brushed" CimeXa onto the mattress corner sheet - on the edges - all around the sheet. I believe the bottle says not to put it on your linens, but I was desperate - I was so sick of getting bitten every night - that I did put it on the linen. I do believe that helped also. I did not have a respirator so I took a kitchen towel and wrapped it around my mouth and nose and I already wear glasses, so this helped. A respirator would be the ideal thing, but the towel worked well, and I got out of under the bed a couple of times to get fresh air. I also brushed it on my bookcase that is shoved right up against the bed in case they were there. I have never seen them in my dresser or the closet - only on the bed which is great! I do have cats, so I put a bunch of empty plastic totes under the bed so they cannot walk in it, just in case. As I roll around at night, I have noticed dust on the floor under the bed from what I put in the joists. This stuff dries out your skin and I don't want to have to worry about my cats. They are an awful little bug! Buy CimeXa!

It’s working. It’s all I’m using, although I bought Temprid as well. (Well, except for 91% isopropyl. More on that later.) I followed some advice on bedbugs that I found online. It said not to hold them off with poison or they may settle in and wait out the poison by going into hibernation for as much as a year. It said to keep being the bait and bringing them through the dust. However, they really do seem to drop from the ceiling, maybe to avoid the dust. That’s when they’re little and translucent. It’s like little ghosts getting you. You can’t even see those. But they had to go through the dust on the way back because they can drop, but they can’t fly, and I stay surrounded by dust. I used a lot of 91% isopropyl alcohol on the sheets and me. (It has to be to be 91%.) Lying on wet on sheets sounds awful, but it was always a relief and they dry fast. Sometimes I sprayed it on heavily three times a night. My hands got tired of spraying a lot, because I was drenching them. Went through a lot of alcohol. Cost a lot more than Cimexa. Used microfiber sheets because they hold the liquid more than they pass it through and they’re cheap so I could keep throwing them away every few days. (I just laid twin-size sheets on top. They didn’t have to cover everything. They just had to cover as much room as I needed. $5 a set at Walmart.) I surrounded them with dust and I applied another layer of fresh dust once or twice a week. I know that’s not supposed to be necessary. It’s taken a long time. I started Sept 11 and it’s Nov 10. Two months. Just me. No pets. I’m down to one or two a night—a long bright night. Neither they nor I saw any darkness until the last week. I kept at least dimmed lights on. I stayed up until 5–6 am, killing as many as I could because I couldn’t sleep. When I slept a few hours here and there, they got me, of course. But I haven’t needed to bathe the sheets in isopropyl alcohol for a week. (That’s sprayed right on them, whether on invisible ones on the sheets when I felt the itching or on visible ones. At 91% alcohol, it definitely kills them. It’s a good non-toxic spray-on. When it’s dry though, it’s effect is over. Aloe vera gel kills the itching. This is a lot, but I couldn’t get enough of reading stories and reviews (and re-reading them) on any site as I’ve fought this scourge. I hope this helps someone. It’s been awful. Overall this brand of Silica Dust has been great. We had a bb infestation in the building. We didn’t want to use the treatment that some used because they then had to throw away most if not all of their belongings once they did that type of treatment. We heard about this, got a duster, and used it as directed. It got rid of the bb’s in less than one day. Unfortunately, after a few years now, there was another infestation in the building. Where most had problems, we did not EXCEPT when it included roaches. We were not used to seeing them for years. Maybe only a few times a year we’d see one or two and that was usually in early summer, but then they’d be gone since we had the Cimexa around the apartment. This year there was a breakout in the building due to a tenant whom for whatever reason was unable to take care of their apartment. For about a week the roaches were regular. We saw where there were coming from through the ceiling pipe lines where we had previously filled with foam around the tiny open area between the pipes and the sheetrock. We couldn’t believe they were able to get themselves through it. Anyway, I digress. The Cimexa took longer to kill the roaches but it eventually worked EXCEPT for the large flying roaches. We had never ever seen them here. I’ve seen them in another country, but not here. Unfortunately, we had to put paste down for them and get rid of them outright whenever they’d sneak in through the window. So, for the most part, the Cimexa will work on most small insects. They’ll get rid of bb’s the quickest, the poor little pill bugs too (sorry, I like them), but roaches may take a little longer especially depending upon the size of them. I would highly recommend following the directions on the bottle, especially removing pets from the area when dusting. WEAR A MASK too when putting it down EVEN though you’ll be dusting close down to the area your dusting. Make sure no overhead fans are going, nor any air filters, basically anything that will carry the dust into the air. You can put them back on after the dust settles, maybe half hour or so. You may want to use gloves as it will dry out your hands temporarily. Never spray the dust in the air. Dust close and directly to where you want the dust. Also, DO NOT over dust. Too much dust is not recommended. Supposedly, the bugs will just go around it. Not sure if that’s true, but figured I’d mention it. Finally, reapply dust after vacuuming and moping if you want to have a continual line of defense. Wish we didn’t have to use this, but when you have infestations, kinda don’t have a choice. Love this stuff! Works on bed bugs, roaches, and other pesky critters! The couple times we had a bed bug problem, We puffed this into cracks and crevices like behind or under baseboards (where there was gap), behind appliances, under furniture and even under couch and chair cushions when possible, and took of the receptacle covers and puffed it into the opening, then we heat treated the apartments. We didn't have to go back and keep treating. The powder stays active for years as long as it is down so if the little critters crawl through it, it will kill them eventually. You can spray it wet or dry. We usually just puffed it in dry but for larger applications you can use it wet. We had a problem with insects in an attic and we mixed it up wet per the instructions and used a 2 gallon sprayer to spray down the whole attic. The water evaporates and leaves the dry powder that stays active for years according to the label. This lady has not complained anymore about any insects.

My mamaw had bed bug a huge infestation she couldn’t sleep at night. There were hundreds a I called terminix and it was gonna be a ten thousand dollar job with no certainty. I sent her every five star bug spray and nothing was getting rid of this infestation. I found this powder with silica and she said the very first night she slept so hard she hadn’t slept that good in god knows how long and they don’t even get on her no more. Her house may be covered in this powder but she now almost has no bed bugs it takes a while they do have to crawl thru this stuff to die but once they do they die. I’d say give it a try. It was the only thing that worked or her after hundreds of dollars were spend and this is not that expensive

this product acts as a repellant pushing bb into the walls-and so many people don't apply it correctly. It only works if you apply with a brush and such a thin layer the bugs don't see it-too many people apply it too thick and don't understand why it doesn't work. Now for other bugs-not sure if it works=probably would. but for bed bugs don't waste your time. use crossfire. Info from green akres pest control on youtube. he explains why he doesn't recommend dusts. Also this product gets into the air if you use it along the base of the mattress covered sheets every time you get in and out of the bed-now it helps-I would use it in couches way back down in the creases-but after dealing with bb for 3 months now-you really need to know what you are doing before you use this product. This product would work in walls of new construction-it's made for cracks and crevices-it's not for broadcast use=so if you came here looking for how to get rid of bed bugs-use crossfire-follow the 2 week treatment plan for 2 to 3 applications-you can't use crossfire on top of this powder-if you already put this powder down-vacuum it up with a shop vac not your regular vac-the dust is too fine and it will destroy the motor. then follow the label directions for crossfire. The reason I don't recommend this product for bed bugs is they can see this powder-you need to use something that doesn't repell them and kills them when they walk across it. which crossfire does. using repellents for bed bugs makes the problems MUCH worse-you want them to come out to you-walk across the crossfire treated frame/mattress/couch towards you and die from exposure to crossfire. This product does kill bugs but you have to apply it correctly.
