Question 1

Does this come with a warranty?  If so, what is the length of the warrenty and what does it cover?  Thanks!

Mine said warranty for one year. We still like our chair not only for the tub, but wife fell and could not get up. I got the chair out of the tub, lowered it all the way down, got her on the chair, raised it up to where she couild stand up. Hope this answers your question Nancy C. Question 2

My tub's width is 28". Will the flaps work for my tub? Thanks.

The width of my tub is 29" from the outside of the tub, so it sits over the edge on both sides. The chair is about 27 from flap to flap. You would have to bring the chair closer to the outside where you load yourself to use it. My wife uses the flap to sit on and then slides over. they fill the gap so you don't fall in, and flaps really don't seem to steady it much. The suction cups hold to the bottom of the tub real well. I know it's been a blessing to us and has worked real good. I don't know how we did without it before.

Question 3

The back lowers automatically?  So if you don't want to recline to the fullest position, you have no choice?

The lift goes up and down with the back in the straight vertical position. When down at the lowest level one can keep the down button pressed and the back then reclines. So if you don't want to recline you don't have to. You do have to recline the back to fold up the unit.

Question 4

Can Epsom salts be used with this equipment in the water?

I have been using several cups of epsom salts in my bath with the lift now for going on two months... everything is just fine! I do recomend  rinsing off the lift after each bath with fresh water to get off any remaining salt and soap.
